... before I ordered my baby cockatiel, and every breeder I spoke to said these guys were the best.
Now that I've had him for 24 hours. i have had the chance to play with him a little and had a good look at him. He's quite healthy - feathers shiny and smooth, no stress lines, no discharge from anywhere, poop normal, breastbone well-covered....
But.
The breeder clipped a single wing (wrong) and didn't just do the flight feathers but also clipped his primary coverts :(
This is an absolute no-no. It unbalances the bird, especially when he's so young and needs to learn.
I am not happy about this.

He'll be ok after he moults, but it has set him back a few months :(

He's a little snuggler :)
He likes shirts with collars, and he crawls up into the gap between the collar and your neck :)

Pepper, sitting on the back of my neck :)

Where is your neck in relation to the leather jacket he's on?

Fuck she's an idiot. Ok, she didn't get the first one. Not everyone would. But come the fuck on, how fucking dense can a person be?

i don't recall ever seeing a picture of a man mocked for it's wrinkles here. ever.

just an observation.

That's because they're usually stretched too tight to show up in the photo.

The good news is that Pepper looks healthy, happy and relaxed.

And I'll bet he's a little charmer.
