In general, it seems to me, opinion only, that computers are running us, not we, them.

This new machne and OS, does what the hell ever it wants whenever it wants to, regardless of my instructions, updates, restarts, changes position of desks\top icons, puts files where it wants them. Google Chrome is crap but you don't dare uninstall, it is tied to Windows 7.

If you refuse to install a yahoo or google or windows toolbar, the damned things nags you folrever.... the freakin pop up yahoo crap, mebbe you can dump it, I can't.

Maybe just old, but it didn't use to be this way...machines are taking over.

Windows 7 is amazing. It's depressing having to work on the older windows versions right now since my computer is down. My cat best understand that she's the only living thing that could hope to stay that way after pushing my lap top off a table intentional or not.

I have been running 7 since it was introduced and I have no issues with it.
It is as stable as XP imo, and way better than Vista.
This is a laptop that was sold with Vista, and update download as soon as 7 was released.

No complaints.

No, but I still have packages of those little diskettes or whatever they were called. Bought a used newspaper word processer, green screen, damn that must have been about 1980 or so, all I do with the computer is write, make files and play The first version of Civilzation now and then.

I bought the motherboard and parts, the person that put it all together said not to try to uninstall Chrome because it was integral to the OS. I don't know that to be true myself, but that is what I was told.
