I was standing next to my high school football coach at a game when lightening struck. It ran through the lines and into his headphones. He flew about 4 feet up into the air and fell down in 6 inches of water. They stopped the game, evacuated the stadium and took him away in an ambulance. Didn't kill him, but he was a hell of a lot nicer after that.
