I like smilies................................

:D

I don't even know how to do that......

And I don't want to know.

You make like those - that's you.

When I see'em I just get violent thoughts and simply want to blast them with a double ought buck, double barrel.......

Smiley ass face.

Sparky, I bet you don't feel violent....

when the :) is on your childrens' face. At least I hope not.

I love "my" kids but......

Here's what turns my stomach......

Those "big eyed" velvet paintings of kids.

Whenever somebody presents a puppy and everybody goes - "ahhhhhhhh."

Cute kids on cereal commercials.

Any blatant attempt to solicit "heart felt" emotions from the common man - usually for monetary gain.....

I hate that shit.

I hate Disney.

Sparky, why is it that I just don't....

believe you?? Methinks that hiding under that gruff exterior there beats tha heart of a softie. I don't think that you hate anything other than people or ideas that spew hatred.

This thread has devalued...

the :) now if I want to make a short "no offense" statement I've got to become a laughing hyena :D or a fly catching frog :p

Curses:) :) :) :)

I am a softy, for.........

genuine, positive, loving emotion.

But smiley faces do not represent that - to me. As those other items on my list above don't.

They are all manifestations of greed mongering to gain profit via playing up to the inate weaknesses of normal human emotion.

I can't allow myself to submit to such obvious and petty pandering.

A smiley face - or my babies and sons faces? No comparison.

Here - see for yourself.

Now, Sparkster, that's what I call....

a honest to god smilie face. Talk to Laurel. Maybe she'll substitute the photo of your cutie pie for the smilie face symbol.

You are one very fortunate man, Sparky. That's a real beutiful child that you have there. My youngest is 28. He's got a pretty nice smile too and so does his 30 year old sister.

Can we take a poll and send it to Laurel to substitute Sparky's smiling baby in lieu of this :)?????

:)

smile and the world smiles with you..........
fart and your on your own!
