No... he didn't. He was gay and tormented and suicidal (as was de rigeur for all gay characters at the time, because there was a Hollywood law that gay people were never normal or happy) but he wasn't into animal sex.

No burros were sucked in the making of that really shitty movie.

IIRC, a tag at the start of the movie proclaimed "Based on a true story" and the movie also had the standard "Any resemblance to real persons, living or dead is purely coincidental." disclaimer at the end. WTF?

Thanks for the correction, Stella. My recollection is soley based on my opinion that the movie just, well...sucked, period. Glad to know that no burros were harmed.
