I can't log in!!!

Hi everybody. For over a year I haven't been able to log into Literotica at all. I registered a new account, and I STILL can't get in!! (I'm sure everybody's had that at experience at some time or another? ) I've emailed for my password I don't know how many times and changed it, and the site still won't let me in. Help please!

The only time I had this problem my security level was set too high.

Check Internet Explorer properties — right-click Desktop icon for IE, then click on 'Properties'
Click tab for 'Security'; the first selection should already be on the Internet. At the bottom it should show the setting. Anything higher than Medium-high will make it impossible to log in to your account.

If the setting's okay, don't know what else to suggest, unless you have some other security software in place that's over-protecting you.

You say you "haven't been able to log into Literotica at all" and yet you obviously did log in to post your message.

Did you perhaps mean that you can log into your new account which was activated yesterday, according to your profile, but that you can't get access to an earlier account?

If that's the case, logging into your new account won't give you free access to the older one, because the computer doesn't know that you and your alter ego are one and the same.

No offense intended (and I hope none taken) but is it possible that you're making small typos and/or altering the case when entering your password? Passwords have to be completely verbatim to be recognized.

If that's not the problem, and if you've tried LeBroz's sage advice, your best remaining recourse is to send a PM (not an e-mail) to Manu, describing your problem and requesting technical assistance.

Hiya. Yeah, I thought that was weird too (and forgot to mention it): I can't get into the site, but I can get into the forums. And I promise you that I'm not making typos, b/c I wrote my password & username down, and have double-checked every variation of spelling I might had used--but I know I didn't make a mistake on my new account. The site just resets to the entry page every time.

And I'll double-check the security level, but I can get into every erotica site that I like and/or have an account to without a problem. If that doesn't work, then I'll get a hold of Manu. Thank you!

Click here: http://www.literotica.com:81/members/main.php and hit refresh if it gives you the enter password page.

If you're logged into the forums, you're logged into the main site -- it's the same user-database and cookies for both. The main site might be having a problem reading the cookies, but it's more likely that you're just seeing a cached page instead of a fresh page.

Nothing's worked so far: security level allows these sites, double-checked spellings, usernames/passwords, refreshing the entry page--got squat. I just tried to send in a request to the Forum Administrator here, and it won't let me do it!! What the hell is going on?!

Nothing to Forum Administrator?
Did you try using the forum private message function? If not, send pm to Manu and describe your problem in detail and what you've done to try to correct it.

If that optioon doesn't work, try this.
