I've already been and completed one degree but I've decided recently to apply for the mid-year intake of Law school... I've always wanted to do Law but did Criminology first time around instead. I hope I get in :D

go girl!

Because I can't figure out how to apply for funding.
Because I don't have enough money to not work full-time.
Because I'm lazy and I'm not really sure what I want to go for.

The time worn excuses... money and time. I plan to go back every year, and every year, I don't. Someday (Is there another thread in that word, Dill?) I'll get my wildlife biology degree and go to vet school. I may be the world's oldest vet school grad, but I'll go.

I would like to take some classes that interest me once my kids are in school, but, at this point, I don't have the desire for a degree.

Because I have 6 credits left before finishing grad school, and can't fucking afford to pay for those last credits without taking out yet ANOTHER loan. I can't find a part-time bartending job that will accomodate my schedule either.

How is that for an excuse?

I already completed college, that's not an excuse... I just don't want to go back, i'll do continueing education though for upradeing when needed.

After I earned my degree, I was able to do what I wanted. Didn't need another one. I was always taking a class on something but didn't feel the need to cap it with another degree.

When I decided to have a child, I dropped off my career path and found a job that I like and can work at part time. I spend my time with my son. I don't go to formal classes now, and I find other ways to learn.

What I want out of life is different now than when I was in my late teens and early 20's. I learned how to learn when I went through college. So at this point in my life, I'll do it on my own.

Yea, what she said

Except that I know I only have a couple of credits left to get my RN I'm just too damn lazy.......:D

I'm in college right now...it is like summer camp....you have requirements...but then you have freedoms...:)

I can't go

because I'm too fuckin old and besides, I don't think I could still hold the record for chugging beer.

i'm in school and i love it :D i'm so excited right now because my classes look really cool. i've actually almost finished one of the books because it's so interesting. last semester didn't seem to have anything to do with my major, but now i'm in classes that are extremely relevant.
:D :D :D

okay sorry... i guess was kinda hijacking... um... did i mention i've consumed 2 cokes in like 30 minutes. wheeeee. i love sugar and caffine.

Well,

cause I don't want to.

Or, because I can't afford it.

I have my Bachelor's and anything beyond that requires the severing of at least one body part in order to finance your higher education!

I read in a previous thread that you have gone back to school. I missed the one where you told about your decision to go back.

Why have you chosen to go to college?

I can't go to college because we don't have classes tomorrow! :D

I think I took to many classes this semester though!

BULL SHIT! ABSOLUTELY BULL SHIT!

sorry for the caps/yelling--but if you want it then go for it! I graduated from a respectable mid-size University in 1984...

* dirt poor
* no job
* no scholarship
* no "rich daddy"
* no car
* no stereo
* no nothing....but FUCKIN' HUNGER!!!!!!

Today I earn ....(a hell of a lot more than I or anyone in family ever expected)

I share this with you not to impress you--but to impress upon you the potential of having a singular vision!

I apologize if my comments offend anyone--this is just an emotional subject for me. Sorry!

PS: I have been downsized, outsourced and fired on three (3) seperate occassions!
