I cannot get my MP3 player to work

Can anyone help me get my MP3 player to work? When I clik on the audio stories the player does not come up. I sure would appreciate any help from soneone. Have a great day and thanks.

First thing's first - what kind of MP3 player is it? Do other MP3s on it play okay, or is everything not playing?

If the problem only seems to affter your audio stories, it might just be data corruption. Try to play the original media file (the one you copied on to your player) on your computer. If it plays okay, connect your MP3 player to your computer and try to play the version of the file stored on your player, via your MP3 player's management software (i.e. the software that you use to transfer MP3s on to the player. This is iTunes in the case of iPods).

If the file stored on your MP3 player plays fine via your computer, check that the original file is definitely a format compatible with your player. MP3 files are compatible with pretty much any player on the market and all the players I know of accept wav files, too. Some players accept the less common ai and wma formats, but I've had issues with these on my iPod.
