I cannot get into chat area

i wanted to see what gives there.

first it told me i was unknown.
so i tried to register for chat
noooo... it's fucked up... told me i needed an e-mail addy when i had one there. what problems?

is it worth the trouble, anyway?

Compared to the chat room, the BB is a Sunday social, sponsered by the church, and endorsed by the city council.

At least on the BB I can keep up with the conversations. lol

riff make sure all of the red areas in the sign up page are filled in. You can use a bogus email addy or type none for each category you would like to leave blank. Make sure, when you sig in the nick and password are correct as they are case sensitive. Good luck...ksss (one of the CM's from chat)

I think the chat room is worth the trouble of registering. Yes it is a faster pace but you learn to keep up.

Chat (no chat more like) Room

I've checked in a couple of times and it consists mostly of people wandering from room to room without speaking.
I've tried nice and I've tried sarcastic, but nobody seems to have a keyboard that works. Unlike on here!

darowyn I am sorry you had a tough time .. .there are better times than others to go in... most of them time if you start out friendly then so are we (btw I am texas lady over there) but if you come in like a jerk in a singles lounge you will pretty much get crucified

Hmmmm was Ambrosious' comment about the people in chat are weird or the setting for chat is weird?? Either case, I know I am weird, and chat can be really weird. The room is fast as the site has many newcomers to it, but the scroll speed can be changed to help slow it down. And once in chat, you do get used to the speed of the scroll. We do try to keep the lounge on a polite setting, so if you come in chat and are really obnoxious be prepared to take some ribbing. Most generally, the people in chat are very nice and most will help a newcomer by answering their questions. One of the best ways around chat is to speak in public to thepeople and let them get to know you and you them. Many chatters have been there for a long time. Please try the chat area again Darowyn...there are a great group of people in chat.
