Laurel won't let me make three posts a minute... Literotica can't keep up with my quick wit.

I know, I hate that 30 second thing. When things get hot and fast, it just spoils the momentum.

But I am sure there is a valid reason for it.

Yes, there is. I've seen boards get spam-bombed. It's not pretty.

The "only one search every 30 seconds" kinda mystifies me, though.

I expect the reason is so that you can check your posts and NOT making errors like:

"faster then I'm allowed to."

which should be

"faster than I'm allowed to."

Maybe it should be 45 seconds between posts?

PS actually, it kinda annoys me too because I work on a couple of posts for a while in different windows and then want to send them. :)

PS Perky is soooo going to tease you about this.

I'd swear I've seen perky post at lightening speed.
You people obviously have the benefit of connections faster than the eratic rural French Telecom, bird on a wire, service I have here.

... and there I was thinking that all of Europe is wired at gigabit network speeds ;-)

I won't comment on how fast, efficient, witty, clever, beautiful, perky, smart, sexy, cheeky perky is. :D

Lit seems to keep up with mine just fine, I've managed up to 6 posts per minute in the past.
You just can't wait for it to bring you back to the main thread, and then hit post again.
Instead, submit your reply, and the moment it switches to the mid-screen, check the progress box at the bottom of your browser. The moment it becomes active, hit back-page.
Enjoy your new mass posting.

Maybe it is Laurel's way of slowing down the people who are going just for post totals.

is it meant to be a race?

You'd think so based on some newbie hehavior! Every so often we get one who wants to race to their Av in about 45 minutes.

Some of us are wittier than others.;) When I hit that wall I write a PM to one of my buddies. 2 posts & one pm per minute should keep you occupied.

If this is an example of that quick wit, Laurel is most likely correct.
