I can only shake my head

The other night we had a multiple shooting in Lake Worth. Three people were killed and several more were sent to the hospital with bullet wounds. This morning the Police claimed this was gang related. (Not a big surprise.)

Witnesses stated that the attackers pulled up in an SUV, (yet to be found) and went into the backyard where they opened fire.

The Brother of one of those killed was interviewed and was more than a little upset. (Understandable) He claimed his brother was a good God Fearing Man who had ever broken the law. (The Police differed, he had a long record of violent offenses.) The brother then went on to list how his brother had been forced into the Gang Lifestyle. How he had no chance to get ahead, (He had a College Grant which was pulld when he was arrested and convicted for sticking a knife in the belly of a classmate who had disrespected him.)

I am always amazed at how people can shift the blame for their or their friends actions away from themselves.
