this has to be one of the sillier posts i've seen. but here i am thowing out my 2 cents...
I think that instead of some gladiator style combat ladder system, it should be more along the lines of this.
First have an IQ test to sort things out.
Everyone under 100 (the so called average) goes into one group. These people could be in the military, do government work, police, IRS etc.
Take say 100-110 and put them in charge of those under 100.
110-120 could have a broader range of choices. Jobs that require more skill.
120-130 you're getting to the cream here, so they'd be sent to extra schooling and might further research medicine and so on.
130-145 and you're getting closer to genius levels and they'd be given even more opertunity.
145+ you are a genius so well, i'm sure you can find something for them to do..
Each bracket would only fight each other, as to avoid having a braindead zombie world from those who while strong, aren't the sharpest knives in the kitchen from running things.
