I've given in and gone to the new stuff. I ordered a Canon D20 Digital SLR camera.

I may be up in Denver later this summer shooting some concert/club events with a friend of mine that is in that business. It should be a lot of fun.

:) I am finally getting around to really playing with my new Canon G6 and it is sooooo cool. Got plenty of practice with it at night this week with 2 dining out nights in Amsterdam, one a party in a restaurant..dispelled my fears from all the stories I had heard about lousy low lighting pics...they were great and certainly didn't lack in sharpness or exposure. Have fun Betticus...nothing like the feel of a new camera in your hands. :D

Is not a bad camera, but has some problems when shooting in jpeg which is usually the most used format except for those special shots or those who want to do plenty of post processing. There is a good detailed review of it here . I think personally I am sold on Canon, especially when it ocmes to clarity and colour definition.

I've never been a fan of Pentax.

I want a Canon EOS Digital Rebel.... rawr :)
 
that new Canon 20D is awesome!! congratulations

the new DRebel XT also looks pretty cool, for those of us that are funds-challenged :cool:
 
I have a five day break from work coming up. Wednesday thru Friday off so I'll be out and about taking photos.

I just wish there was a good camera shop here in town. The sunlight here is so damn intense that I need a polarizing filter. I'll have to look at one of my other lenses and see if I already have one that fits this lens that came with the new camera.

The plants here are in bloom and the weather is pretty so I should be posting some stuff soon.

I'm also beginning work on a photography site for my clean stuff at www.betticus.com if anyone wants to look. I haven't built graphics yet and none of the links point to anything but this is the layout and color scheme that I think I'll stick with. Now I just need to learn how to manipulate dreamweaver well so I can update on the fly and add new content easily.

Thanks for the feedback. When I get good enough at the internet stuff I plan on starting a site for D/s male on female erotic art. I suppose that it wouldn't hurt to make it a collaberative effort. I need a web substress! :)
