There is literally no way to know why a story is delayed, since only Laurel knows and I don't know of a time she explained. 10 days it not that long, although it's more than average. You could drop her a polite Conversation starter (envelope icon at the top of this web page) and ask her if anything is wrong. Some people say that works, sometimes.

I had that same problem for about a week before I found out the difference between the button that saves a draft and the one that actually publishes the story. I'm gonna go ahead and embarrass myself and admit this mistake so others can learn from it.

That is interesting info. Thanks. I’m not sure if it is “unsubmitted” since it shows as “pending.” Is that even possible? Like I said, I’m the biggest dummy on the planet when it comes to tech stuff

Thanks for the tip about the envelope icon. I’ll give that a try and see what happens!
