I am so pissed

Remember I've been fighting with Kimbers dr about her medication now for 2 months? And I decided to switch drs? Dr #1 was being an ass about faxing the file to Dr #2? For almost 2 weeks I've been calling Dr #2 asking if they had received the file so I could make an appointment. They kept telling me no.

Today I called Dr #1 to see when they sent it. It was sent the 21st of Feb. Dr #2 said they hadn't received it, but they'd look again and get back to me. Didn't hear from them all morning. So I just called.. "Shannon" said "Nope, we didn't get it". I said "well my daughter is having some major side effects... loss of appetite, sleepwalking and blurred vision." Shannon said "Well let me see.. well hey.. I found your file, it was right here all this time." I said "That's strange, how'd you miss it?" Shannon said "I hadn't even looked in the "in" box yet. I would have thought it would be in a different place." I said "can we make an appointment please?"

So.. I have an appointment for Wednesday morning.. and until then Kimber is to take no more medication.



Not sure this dr is going to work out either. Hopefully he is better than his office staff.

Actually.. I don't think they are overly happy with taking my daughter as a patient.

I think we were being ignored.. But they can't ignore me long. When it comes to my kids.. I can be a real bitch

From what I've heard.. this doctor is the best ADD doctor in the county. I've met him, he was nice. I just get a feeling that the office staff has way more to say than the actual doctor does. I think they run the show.. and he just does what he is told. I'm not used to big dr offices.. I'm used to small offices where they know your name and remember who you are from one appointment to the next without re-reading the chart.

I am too.. and up until a few months ago.. my child NEVER went to the doctor unless she was half dead or needed her shots.

It's all different now unfortunatly.
