Recently, I recieved an email suggesting that one of my submissions on the BB was pithy. Well, I was pithed off until I looked the word up in the dictionary and found out its meaning.

There are certain words that you know are not flattering, just by the way they sound. For instance: mouldy, cyst, or obsequious, to name a few. But for me, pithy takes the prize.

He's not housebroken

It's true, somedays you pith all over the place.:p

Better to be pithed off than pithed on.

Unless of course you're into that kind of thing. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

Damn -

Someone should have known better then to label a lawyer's writing "pithy!" BTW, it means "terse, full of substance or meaning." Terseness, of course, is the 8th deadly sin for attorneys.

Oh pith off! ;)

Good lord, Blue, I though this was going to be about dental issues.

Whew!

I thought pithy was good, like you had fibre, or something.

Backbone.

Or is it the plural for python?

I forget.
