I've contributed a few poems to an online poetry journal.

Tonight while searching google I typed in my name just for the heck of it and THERE I AM with some lines from a poem.

I've been trying to wrap my brain around the fact that among many other things I am a writer. I guess it's time to settle into that.
 
My poetry used to be such a private thing...

only shared with a few. Last year that changed and 2 of my poems became part of this journal. This year they added a 3rd.

--So I knew I was published but still there's something about being so public.

That happened to me with Elfwood. lol. It felt odd. Now though, with my own site, I am on every major search engine so it is sort of more weird.

Seriously, though, that is cool.

I think anyone who tries and cares, will do good in life, if they embrace and use their best gifts.

I remember how i felt when i had my story published on Lit... i wanted to shout about it and show everyone (obviously i didn;t *lol*).

If you are even half as happy with yourself as I was... then its a wonderful feeling.

And I also found out that my name is not nearly as uncommon as I first thought. There's a shitload of people with my name running around.

TB4p--my name isn't as uncommon as I thought either so it is humbling to be one of so many. (but I'm the second entry and the only entry if I don't space between first and last name)
quickduck-- yes, I am happy.
Starfish-- It is good but very odd. I'm thinking that maybe it is time to declare that I AM a writer...along with many other things.

I also wrote the intro paragraph for the site which I am also proud of.


Thanks to all the well wishers who posted here. It means alot!

I'm listed in Google too, only it's not really me!

My name in quotes locates a pornographer born in 1956! LMAO!:D

But it is very cool for you, cause yours is really you! Congratulations!
 
I'm listed in google twice. Unfortunately it is because I was in 2 online roleplaying games...back when I really, really sucked. Its quite embarrassing because not only am I listed as a player, it lists all of my posts in their entirety.

Ah well *shrugs*
