I am getting my hair dyed....any color ideas?

I currently have mousy brown hair....ya know the dull brown color....I hate it....

So what colour....something not tooo "wild" ie not black with red streaks...(my parents will kill me!!!!)

Get it lightened to a more lively shade of golden brown with highlights.




I don't know, kind of hard to tell without seeing your coloring (Skin, eyes etc)

I would suggest highlights, or lowlights, not a full dye. If you have a warm skin tone (the more tan, usually), I would go with a red shade. Blond if you have a cooler skin tone (more pale). You might want to try a few temporary ones first, and see what you like. If you are doing it yourself, buy a level 1 dye. They wash out fairly quick, but can give you the idea of what the dye will look like.

Reddish worked for me. I found that L'oreal products allows me to keep up with the coloring on a monthly basis, and produces quite nice results.

If this is your first time, you might want to try just highlights or a temporary coloring. Good luck.

I did it...

I went I dyed....I cut....I loved....
I just got it trimmed....and the color is sorta a henna color...ya know dark brown reddish? ^_^ i like it.....thanks for the suggestions....my stylist Cindy did it...she rules!!
