I have been trying for quite some time now. One more month and I can try, again (Dr.'s order).

it started with my sister having baby number three.....

and now I am constantly in the baby section of every store.... Staring longingly at women who are carrying babies or who are pushing along strollers. Today it got so bad... that I cried...

It helps some (doesn't go away, though) if you can find some way to help those kids that are already here and desperately NEED the love and attention you want to give those babies.

Until you have your own, it's amazing how hugs from someone else's kids temporarily fill that empty space in your heart.

tell your sister to go away for a week....and babysit, after a week with 3 kids, the motherly instinct will be shelved for awhile.....i insanely offered to babysit three children
6,4,2....although i love children, and sometimes wish i had my own....my motherly has been successfully extinguished for awhile lol

babysitting

April, sometimes it has the opposite effect. I've had my friends four kids (currently 13, 8, 6, and 4) for at least a week to ten days each year since the oldest was five and the second was a baby. Never changes my desire for kids of my own....

It did however, convince me that single motherhood is the ultimate challenge and that before I marry anyone I'll spend a LOT of time with his mother. The worst time I ever had with those kids was the time the parents went to Hawaii and left the mother-in-law to "help" me with the kids.

I know I could never be the kind of mother I know I should be, and kids annoy me. It might be different if they were my own kids but I don't wanna take the chance.

I love all babies to pieces. I love watching, playing with, and being with, my brothers 9 month old. I know how you feel. I love babies. I also know that I shouldn't breed. I was a demon as a child, so my mother can't wait for me to have a child of my own, because she knows it will be just like me. She wants me to have my justdesert for being such a wicked child.
