Kinda.

For me, writing the first draft is fun, sort of like making up a story.

Rewrites, however, are a bore, with each new one more boring that the last.

Finishing a novel gives me a sense of job accomplished satisfaction, but no pleasure. That would be reserved for getting the sucker published.

My agent wants me to do one more rewrite on my second novel and add more sensory detail. That's one hell of a challenge for a guy who's half-blind, has a lousy sense of smell and is going deaf.
