I was forced by Dave to to the doctor.....and I found I lost about fifteen pounds.

I feel like I gained, hey, I am not going to argue.

Not a big deal, but I just wanted to say that I didn't know......I must be doing something right.

*shrug* Who knew?

Okay, don't mind me.....have a good day.....:D

Thank you.

it was a pleasant surprise.....I have such a hard time losing weight on a normal basis, I just thought I would share....

:) :rose:

Congrats on whatever you are doing right!

I had my annual "wellness exam" the other day
I've gained 12 lbs since last year but my body fat was lower.

Cholesterol & Triglycerides were down too!

Hi BgMama,

If your doctor wasn't worried about the weight loss, then it's probably good. Why do you think you lost so much weight, though? Too much worrying about other people? Hmm?

I've lost 20 pounds in the last 6 months by eating less carbs, salt and sugar and more high fiber food. Anyone for brown rice and pumpkin soup? ;)

Still chubbily yours,
Mia :rose:

Congrats to both MgMama & MercyMia! Keep up the good work, if that's what you are shooting for.

I had lost 30 pounds before my surgery and have since put it all back on, according to the scale. Funny thing is...I'm wearing the same clothes I was wearing before the weight gain.

Oh well, congrats ladies!!!!

 :rose:

Congrats, but please be aware that if you don't exercise it could have been muscle that you lost and not fat. If your clothes are the same on you or even tighter than they used to be, that could be the case.

lilminx, what if the scale numbers are going up and your clothes are looser? I'm heavier than I have been in my entire life according to the scale but my clothes fit the same and I'm actually in a smaller size now than when I was 30 pounds lighter.

It means that you're gaining muscle mass and losing fat. Muscle is 4 times denser than fat- it takes up less space, so you can actually weigh the same or more than you used to, but be thinner.

Thank you for answering me.

I guess this explains a lot but it still seems wierd to me.
