I’ve Forgotten the Title of a Story

I’ve looked and looked and cannot for the life of me find this one story I had begun reading. I was hoping perhaps someone out there would know which one I’m talking about and direct me to it. Here’s what I remember: a man buys a house/property and finds an innocent girl living in it. The man, I believe, was a wealthy businessman who bought the property with no intent of living there, but rather to build something on the property instead. He arrives at house with his bodyguard and the real estate person I think. They open the door and see a girl standing there (at the top of the steps perhaps). She runs and hides and the man looks at his bodyguard and is like “mine” before he goes into the house alone to find the girl. He goes and finds her in a bedroom I think and they introduce themselves. It turns out she’s been living there with her aunt or grandmother or something. Growing up, she never was really let out or allowed to do anything. I think the aunt died and then the girl never left the house, even while there where cleaning crews there. I don’t really remember much else but if this rings any bells for anyone, please let me know.
