Hypocritical or not?

I met an interesting woman. She is one of those ultra health conscious types. She works out regulary and appears to be in fantastic shape. She's also one of those that likes brag/lecture about how she eats. She was carrying on about how she only eats ultra healthy, etc..... Then she went into how she believes in a completely natural way of living. I don't remember her exact words, but it was something along the lines of she doesn't put anything artificial in her body.

That's all well and good except for massive fake boobs that she was sporting.

Is it hypocritical to lecture others about not putting anything artificial in her body, but have artificial boobs?

No. Implants can be removed. Ding-Dongs can't.

I don't know, but if she does, that would fall into the natural category, wouldn't it?;)

Maybe she feels the same about saline? ;)

I'm in the 'does she swallow?' category on this one.

Sincerely,

peristalsis says otherwise.
since when is plastic natural anyway?

ps please pass a cup of organically grown and hand pressed, percolated coffee with one pound of cane sugar...

Semantics and irony

The phrase 'putting things in her body' suggests things taken orally and 'used' by her body.

Fake boobs, tattoos, piercings, make-up etc, are purely cosmetic so don't come under the 'putting things in' heading.

A healthy lifestyle, it seems to me, is just a component of making yourself look good.

I'd say it was more ironic than hypocritical if she is a follower of things natural but relies on artificial aids for outward appearance.

Sad too.

The hypocracy lies in the completely natural way of living, in the middle of TV, cell phones, condo, car, health spa and gym.

I'm with the 'does she swallow' sect.

Id end up being sarcastic, Id ask if they made her fake boobs with a sheeps stomach like Haggis!
And if she is only into natural things does she use a rubber, silicone or plastic dildo, or more natural veggitation?

sorry, too funny to answer seriously!

Here's what's hypocritical:

My tenth grade teacher was a Vegan. She preached eating healthy and was always asking us questions like "Why would you want to eat something with a face?" She'd tell us time and again that eating a Vegan diet was the healthiest lifestyle and you'd live longer if you did.
And then after class she went out and smoked a ciggerette.

Reeeeaaaaallll healthy, teach.

Vella,

Now don't have such a crappy attitude. Although I've gotta admit I'm not sure how much of a Ding-Dong is digestable.

I have known several "health nuts" and vegitarians. In every case I know there is something they do that contradicts their doctrines. And in every case they find some justification for it.

I know a vegitarian that will preach to you for hours about the slaughter of living creatures for food, but chicken is ok. Don't remember off hand exactly what her justification was but it was something along the lines of chicken being almost plant-like anyway.

There is always a way to justify your actions. valid or not. Hell, just look at our court system.

First Bad Joke of the Day

Vella, you know why proctologists all loved DOS?

No RF, how come?

Everytime they turned on their computer, they saw,

C: enter

(see colon enter) Yuk, yuk. Get it? nudge, nudge

Now, after that, the rest of your day's bound to be an improvement.

But of course they are. What did you think you got when eggplants hatched?

I'm a charter member of PETA. People for the Eating of Tastey Animals :)

I don't see any hypocricy in living a healthy lifestyle and having cosmetic surgery. Everyone I have ever known who was a health nut did it for the way it made their body look. It's a vanity thing, and they all seem to be quite superficial. I'm sure there are people out there who just want to be healthy, but they aren't as preachy.

My question for you WC is how do you know they are false?

No doubts they were false. She's about 5'8 ish, maybe 110 pounds and very fit. There's not an ounce of fat on this woman. Yet I would guess that her boobs are at least a D cup.

There's no doubting they were implants.

I'd need more than that to make that judgement, W. I've known a few women who fall into that category naturally. I'm always torn between jealousy and drooling....;)
