Hypnotizing mother

I thought it would be neat to see something when a young fellow (say 18) taking psychology at college wants to try hypnotherapy and convinces his mother, the only subject around, to let him try it on her. (She wants to quite smoking/speak publicly without nervousness/whatever).

Once he has her under, he feels her up a bit (i.e. running his hands up her bare legs) and eventually has her let him have his way with her.

Maybe he also leaves some post-hypnotic commands for later that freeze her like a statue (so he can feel her up whenever he wants) or puts her back in a trance so she'll do what he says, then wakes her up when he's done, with mother being none the wiser.

Anyone interested?

There are tons of those around already. How about a twist on the formula?

His motivation is all innocent, and he does indeed help her get over her smoking or whatever it was. But it turns out that he said something that could be misconstrued as a command even after the session, maybe he said something like, "you trust me, what I say makes sense and will always seem like a good idea."

Some days later, she tells him to clean up his room, and as a joke he says "why don't you do it?"

"Why that sounds like a great idea," she cheerfully exclaims as she starts cleaning his room. He's not sure what just happened and brushes it off.

That weekend, they get in a fight over his grades or something, and in frustration he yells "oh blow me!" Immediately thinking he's in for some deep shit. She goes on yelling at him as she unzips his pants and gets on her knees.

I like the innocent angle, because if the son feels up his mother while she's hypnotized, that would be kind of creepy.

And I once saw this program on tv (Science Channel documentary on female orgasms) where a woman was having some type of spine surgery while awake and said "Can you teach that to my husband" or something when she asked how it felt. The doctors accidently learned more about sexual stimulous from that surgery.

So perhaps the unintended consequence of the hypnoses added something to her.

I read up a lot on hypnosis a little while back, and what I found was that generally speaking it can only make people do things that they--on some level--already wanted to do. Thus, I like the innocent twist. Could be some sexual tension beforehand, and the hypnosis just allows her to cut loose and engage her long-held fantasy.

How about this, exploring mom's motivations a bit:

When her son approaches her to tell her about his new hobby, she thinks it sounds ridiculous. And besides, shouldn't he be spending his time studying? He's doing terrible... But what the hell, she's been wanting to stop smoking for some time, and who knows, maybe that's the thing that'll work?

He goes into the whole spiel about following his voice down a staircase while counting backwards. She decides to humor him, all the while smirking inside, thinking "does anyone really believe in this crap?"

"Alright mom, nod if you're completely under." She nods, trying hard not to crack a smile or start laughing.

He's thinking, wow I can't believe how easily she went under... "Okay, everything I say will sound reasonable to you, you can trust me in all matters..." Where is he going with this? thinks mom. How can he possibly think it will work?

"Cigarettes are nasty and a waste of money," he goes on. Yeah I know this, she thinks. Everybody knows this. I should play a trick on him, get him all confused.

"When I snap my fingers, you will remember everything I said subconsciously, and follow my instructions." Right, she thinks, I'll get right on that. I do think I'll quit on my own though, he needs some encouragement. It'd be a nice fun success story to tell later on.

So he snaps his fingers and mom makes a show of blinking her eyes as if just waking up, looking confused. "So when do we start? Are you gonna hypnotize me or not?" she says, trying her hardest not to let on that hypnosis isn't real.

"I just did," he says, looking smug as hell, feeling like the king of the world.

Mom stops buying cigarettes of her own volition, finally having a good excuse to drop the habit. She just up and stops, throwing the half pack in her purse away and not looking back.

Some days later, she tells him to clean his room. He jokes, "why don't you do it?" like so many times before. She pauses for a bit before yelling at him. What if I really do it, that'll really burn out his brain. And so she starts cleaning his room. The son has no idea what is going on, trying hard to think. "Eh I was joking mom?" She decides to play the long con, "well it sounded reasonable coming from you... I trust you in these matters."

Holy fuck, he thinks, those are my own damn words! I must be the greatest hypnotist in the world! "Uh yeah mom, of course."

The next day, he comes home with his report card. His grades are terrible, as expected. They get in a horrible fight, yelling at each other. Finally, she says "and you spend all your time on hypnotism instead of doing your homework!"

Infuriated, he yells back, "oh blow me mom! You stopped smoking didn't you?" She stops in her tracks, realizing what he said. Did he mean that? She sees him in a whole new light, has he been having thoughts about her? Is that why he hypnotized her?

Does he want me to blow him? Do I want to blow him? Do I want to do what I'm told? I always tell others what to do... I can use this to my advantage. I can get what I want, without blame, without guilt.

She approaches him, still flushed from the anger she just felt, but starting to get aroused as she gets on her knees in front of him.

Blow me is a phrase, a well known one. Since she isn't hypnotized and in full control of her mind, I find it hard to believe that him saying blow me in that context, she would give him a blow job.

Yeah it goes a little off the reservation at the end, but a better writer could probably fix that. I was trying to convey that since she's used to bossing people around, she realizes she likes being bossed around herself, having her decisions made for her, etc.

Being a Closet Masochist is a good way of doing that, but the way you wrote it didn't put that across so It was a simple mistake. But rather than read off a scene, writing you're idea out can help people fully understand what exactly you're idea is, rather than posting a scene that an author might be hesitant to use.

We don't even necessarily have to know, if the story is told from the son's perspective. (Not necessarily first-person narration. Just from his perspective).

I guess it is common thought that while hypnotized you would only be susceptible or influenced by feelings or emotions they already have.

Okay, here's another twist...

The woman is disturbed because she has fantasies about her son. She knows this is wrong but can not help it, so she goes to a hypnotherapist for treatment.

The son overhears a conversation between his mother and her best friend where she tells the friend about going for therapy and why.

The kids figures some why to turn the therapy sessions to his advantage. Maybe he hides a voice activated mini recorder in her purse to record the sessions.
