Hunter reborn.

The laugh was somewhat disconcerting, and she wasn't sure if she could do much to keep herself from giving up. It was really only the thrust that kept her going. That gentle,..slow thrust made her groan, a brief struggle against the bindings as he continued.

Of course she had no idea what she was supposed to do. She did want to keep him at a distance..but only to be safe from herself because she couldnt bring herself to actually admit to needing him like the air she breathed - and yet still he was questioning her motives, the whimper that escaped her lips probably simply because she was completely unsure of what she needed and what she wanted.

She was thrilled when he finally told them to leave yet still she trembled - groaning even seconds after the clamps were taken off, the weights finally leaving her aching nipples.

Though he found it more than fun to taunt her..the name 'Lord Vargas' was frightening. She knew he had been upset with her for even offering herself to him in place of Kira - and the fact that he would even bring up the name, shaking her head slightly, her lips parting in a desperate moan as he moved so slowly into her - fucking her aching pussy at a pace that left her wanting.

And then the rest continued. She knew that the questioning would come and she didn't seem prepared for it. Not prepared to lie, anyway.

"If...you keep me here..y..you know that I will...probably be more like a useless body than anything.." She had to pause to catch her breath, whimpering and pulling at the restraints. "I will..always be..Celeste..your Celeste.." She did well to clench her pussy around his aching cock, letting her head fall forward. "You don't want me to be just like them..do you?"

She was still again, once more allowing herself to slump within the restraints. "You plan to..turn me into an obedient..boring..dull mate. Is that it? If I were not a challenge..what fun would you have. This..I needed this...for help...I needed help and you brought them down..to humiliate me...? There are other ways to..put people in their place...and today was not the day I needed it.." She shifted somewhat, the fur receding from her skin. "I fear you'll tire of me...whether..I be defiant or whether I...am obedient."

She was still trembling in the restraints, shaking her head slightly. "Please.." The word quickly became desperate even as she attempted to move on his cock, her chest heaving. "..Undo these restraints.."

Despite the inner flexing of her body's muscles, Michael couldn't help but soften a little at her words. To make matters worse for her, was his total and complete retreat from her moments later.

The silence that blanketed the room may have quite possibly been the most cruel thing he inflicted on her since she came down here of her own volition.....and the most unintentional. Only the softest of footfalls broke it's stifling hold as he moved slowly to stand before her.

"Is that what you really think?"

There was no malice in the words, no cruelty, though perhaps....if one were listening carefully......there might have been a hint of sadness.

Fingers peeled away the blindfold, sliding up and over her forehead and auburn mane before tossing it towards a corner. Michael watched as her eyes slowly adjusted to the dim lighting. It would only be a matter of time before they focused and saw just how close he was.

"That's what you think I want you to be? Worse......what my mates are now?"

Michael straightened thoughtfully, his manhood a mere fraction of an inch away, close enough that the bound fox mate could easily make out the aromas of both bodies it had seen during her trials.

"Tell me. Do you think I ordered Angel to plant the garden in the back? Or perhaps I command Siobhan to sleep in your room every night because I choose to spy on you?"

He looked back at her, tied and trussed as she was, the sadness evident in his eyes for the first time even as he moved to the ropes that held her. Even as they met, he turned and looked away......

"There is not a single mindless puppet in this household, Celeste. Not one."

Deft fingers worked at the straps binding her legs. He could hear her moan softly as the blood was finally allowed to flow normally through them once more.

"You would have known this......if you hadn't closed your mind to them the minute you were brought into my house. Each has their own personality.....their own spirit and their own likes and dislikes. Yes, they obey me as their master.....they sleep with me when I am lonely, and they care for my wounds when I am hurt......just as I assure you.....I will care for yours should you be ever injured."

When he looked back at her, there was a tinge of sharpness in his gaze.....not really anger......but perhaps a sign that he had been truly offended.

"Perhaps you're right. There are other ways to train you, and perhaps I made a mistake tonight. But so have you.....and a large one. Return to your room if you choose, run from this place if that what suits you. I'll let you learn the hard way if that's what you want."

His face fell even further to one of almost sad solemnity, his words carried on the still air.....yet even he wasn't sure if she heard them before the basement closed.

"You fear I'll tire of you?........when so many others have already tired of me......"

The softening immediately drew a weak groan from her lips - however it was simply worse when he completely withdrew from her, leaving her completely limp in the restraints.

Even as he pulled the blindfold from her eyes, it literally took moments for her to attempt to even force her eyes open, to take in her surroundings, though the surroundings that she saw was Michael, her eyes widening somewhat as she focused in the darkness, tilting her head up sltightly.

She saw the sadness, though couldn't silence the groan that escaped her lips as he began to untie her, the whimpers as her muscles and limbs finally regained some sort of circulation that she had been lacking for far too long now.

"Michael.."

Her voice sounded so weak now, even to her after all that she had said, and she was staring now down at the ground, her amber eyes still unfocused even though she had plenty of time at this point to find the ground a comforting sight.

"Why..why would you throw the name at me...all of their names. Your mates, Vargas. do you expect me to cower? To beg forgiveness? I was...though hesitant..fully prepared to give you a child..not...not some beast..something to train. I was going to give my life to be certain it would not go to some fox clan...and I lost that chance."

Even though she was still simply sitting on her knees she looked just as weak and helpless as in the restraints.

"I wanted nothing more...nothing than to make you happy. This..entire thing was to make you happy...but you took it to...such an extreme." She shuddered briefly, shutting her eyes tightly before shaking her head. "I don't know what you want from me..I..I don't know what to expect. One moment you're who I knew the next...you're someone I can't understand. I want...to be yours, but I fear you actually will give me away..that...that you will refuse to care for me anymore, see me as nothing more than a pet, something to play with. What then...God if I fail to call you Master will I end up here each time? Will I have you give me over to Kira and let her use me until I am nothing more than a trembling sack?" She was shuddering at the thought, refusing to even attempt to make eye contact.

"You tell me you loved me once...what of now. What do you want me to do. Pretend that I think you still do?" She scoffed briefly, not even bothering to wipe away the tear that fell from her eyes.

"You don't love me. I don't even think you pretend to at this point. I serve as amusement..as a breeding tool...and as a mate. I think that you believe that I love you somewhere in the deformed heart that you've given me, perhaps in the hearts you've fed me but I don't know what to do to convince you."

Still she sat still, her limbs aching for movement though she still refused to give them that satisfaction, keeping her eyes closed tightly.

"I killed the person that I knew..I...I understand that...but...sometimes that person shows up. Sometimes..I want to speak your name..not your fucking title. They didn't know you as that person but I did...why...why can't you see how difficult it is..you insist only on punishing me.." She shuddered even at the thought of withstanding another punishment, squeezing her eyes shut tightly as she shook her head briefly.

"As much as I'd like to believe otherwise, I'm still a person in some respect..with a human heart and human feelings...love,..ache..I wanted you to punish me for the loss of your child because I know it was my fault. I..I put it in my hands, and failed at protecting it, keeping the line alive. You may blame yourself all you want but at the end of the day we both understand the truth. And the best of it all is, that you try to take the blame onto your shoulders,..try to burden yourself down with it, which is why I wanted this...I..I wanted you to so quickly get your mind off of it as well as mine but you managed somehow only to get my mind back into it...to think of my faults,..make me understand how it was all mine. I've not even told you how I've seen..in my dreams after it died...someone is coming for me. God I don't know if it's just my mind punishing me, playing dreadful tricks, but someone...something is going to ruin me, Michael. And none of this..nor any love will be able to bring me back from that abyss." Her words were so calm, frightening almost yet still she wasn't looking at him, her eyes fixed on the ground - eyes wide and unblinking as she spoke, quite nearly sounding as though she herself were becoming lost in the rapture of her own mind,..unable to snap out of it.

Michael frowned softly as the words poured from between trembling, sobbing lips. As much as he wanted to, he didn't speak until she was done. He was gaining much from today's activities, even if she didn't think there had been any purpose to them....

She was finally opening up to him. The fear was there still, yes.....but this time there was no running, no shutting herself off from the world. That one simple thing, allowed him to learn much......and what he did learn.....caused a deep ache in his chest.....

"Are you finished?"

The words were delivered honestly, as if asking permission to speak himself rather than callously brushing her aside. Only when she gave a shaky nod did he continue.

"My title....as you call it, is one borne out of respect, one that all my mates share. Though they all find need to call me by Michael in the private moments we share.....you are no different, though perhaps this could have been made a little more clear to you."

His eyes wandered to her left absently, his mind a blur of thought and emotion.

"I would never give you to them. Not my mates....and certainly not Vargas. I first tested your feelings towards the others I hold dear in my house.....I wanted to see how deeply your feelings ran for them, your hatred rather. I know if it were up to you, it would be just you and I....together.....forever. And while that is a pleasant prospect, there are others I have to care for, ones who were there for me before you re-entered my life."

A soft frown creased his handsome visage.

"Vargas doesn't deserve you, but I tested your loyalty anyway. Perhaps both of these tests were uncalled for.....and if they hurt you.....well, no apology I make is going to make you forgive me, but I am sorry."

The master of the house knelt before her, his face mere inches from her own, the lingering sadness still haunting the depth of those shimmering orbs.

"You obeyed, and you endured. I want you to return to your room, Celeste. I know you dislike walking my manor nude, so when you feel rested.....I want you to dress in whatever you like and can find in your closet. We're leaving the manor this afternoon.....just the two of us."

Should he tell her? She seemed so broken up about it, despite anything he'd done in the past to console her. Perhaps this was not the time......but perhaps it was.....

"And while you're doing these things, I want you to think on something else. There is a way to bring about another heat within you, Celeste.....but its not something I like even suggesting. Such a thing is dangerous at best, and never something a good mate would ask you to do. I hesitate even mentioning it.....I'd much rather just wait for nature to bring you to me once more."

He reached out to her.....a gentle hand stroking a lone and fuzzy ear. He had not commanded her to shift back yet, and while her fur had receded some, Celeste was still plenty foxy.

"I think you're wrong by the way.....I think you'll find it a lot easier to keep me interested in you than what you think."

His palm slid slowly downward.....a thumb gently dragging across the shimmering wake her tears had left behind.

Gentle hands helped her to her feet, his touch chaste, not designed to excite her in any way....only support.

"Go Celeste, and do these things for me. You'll find me in back helping Angel repair the mess we made whenever you're ready."

As she finally made her way towards the stairs, Michael watched her departure with a keen eye and a scowl not meant for her. Dreams weren't taken lightly amongst his kind, though he didn't want to alarm her any further by telling her that.

Whatever was coming for her......he'd make sure it found only darkness and sharp teeth when it got here.

She flinched at the words, obviously having not expected them, perhaps expecting more of a scolding or even more punishment but there was nothing there. She swallowed hard at the question, however and managed a slight nod though refused to look up at him still even as he continued.

She didn't know the emotion that was going through his mind nor did she see it in his eyes as she seemed to be more comfortable with staring at the ground. The tense muscles seemed to relax just slightly as he spoke of never giving her away, slowly lifting her gaze then to his eyes though she faltered somewhat as she saw the frown, obvious confusion crossing her features.

She saw him kneel - and nearly thought that she should have done something else - that he should not be getting to her level however still he went on - telling her instructions that she was to follow.

It was obvious that she didn't quite understand what was happening, why they were going away together but she did manage another nod - tilting her head somewhat, her eyes shutting as his hand came instead to her face, not moving until he helped her rise.

Her movements were cautious when she finally did manage to reach the top of the stairs, her amber gaze scanning each hall cautiously before she made her way back to her room. Despite the aching she had in nearly every joint in her body she did well with a bath - soothing each muscle until she found herself able to get out.

After drying herself off she moved with probably unsuspecting ease back to her room, to her closet. Comfort was the only thing that she needed at this point, slender fingers easily pulling out a simple deep v-neck t-shirt as well as boyshorts and sweatpants, obviously not quite caring about what she looked like.

Her eyes found herself in the mirror, her hair taking on the same luster as it had previously, eyes catching a gleam of excitement that perhaps had been missed. She was to go on with him in the afternoon to where she did not know and certainly not a reason why.

She did well to not be anywhere near any person who could bother her, wanting only to find Michael - and Angel if she were still there helping him.

He scented her approach before he actually saw it.

The garden was a disaster, and yet, Angel didn't seemed too upset. More like.....resigned, the heavily burdened lycan had been at work with hoe and spade when he had found her. Her surprise was amusing as he picked up the tool she wasn't using at the moment and began to help as best as he could.

"Your garden has always been a place of peace and beauty in my home, Angel. I'm sorry this happened....."

For a moment their eyes met, Angel's sliding downward just a little out of deferrence seconds later.

"Thank you, Michael. It couldn't be helped though. We can't pick and choose when and where our enemies will come for us."

He nodded softly, choosing to work in silence for the next couple hours until the familiar scent of his fox mate intruded into his thoughts. Turning, she slowly came into view, obviously still hesitant about something.....something most likely dirived from her training this morning....

"It's ok, Celeste. It's just the two of us."

Michael smiled, a warm and genuine smile as the curvy vixen stepped a little closer. His eyes ran the length of her body, taking in her choice of dress for the day. Truth be told, he'd hoped she'd choose something a little more pleasing to the eye, but he also wasn't surprised that she'd decided to go for comfortwear instead.

"You're ready to go then?"

A silent nod was all he needed to see.

"Fair enough then. Angel, Celeste and I will be heading to town for a little while today, if you'd like....I'll help you with this some more when we return."

Pale blue eyes swept back and forth between the two of them, the were-panther's face kept impasive. With a slight nod, she turned back to spading the churned ground.

"That won't be necessary, Master.....you know I can do this on my own.....you don't have to...."

Michael chuckled softly, the normally shy Angel startling just a little at the sound before looking back up in surprise.

"I helped make this mess, I'll help clean it up. No arguments, ok?"

With wide and nearly disbelieving eyes, the onyx haired beauty simply nodded.....turning quickly away from the both of them.

"Now, Celeste.....let's head to my room for a moment."

He could feel her trepidation, her wariness....almost as if she expected another surprise punishment. She had been right.....this wasn't the confidence he'd wanted to instill in her. He was trying to drive away this need to cower and hide.....not make it more of an instinct.

They walked in silence, the time as well as the distance flying by in the face of his many thoughts. He didn't think of how such silence might enhance her edgy behaviour, indeed almost didn't even realize that they'd reached their destination until they were already there.

"Please come in."

He didn't know what she expected, and frankly for the moment, he didn't care. He was filthy from his garden work, and needed a change of clothes. He certainly wasn't ashamed to change right there in front of her.....

Long and sensuous minutes later, after thoroughly enjoying the feel of a silk shirt sliding over his bare chest, and a good pair of black slacks belted to his sturdy frame, Michael stepped into a well polished pair of likewise black loafers and was ready to go.

He was sure she had questions for him, but wasn't prepared to give any answers just yet....not even when they got in the car and began to drive. The scenery was equally as breathtaking as the day he'd brought her to his mansion, it was almost a shame when the horizon loomed with the sight of skyscrapers and a smog cloud unseen at his country manor.

"We're going to try a different kind of training for you, Celeste. One that I think you'll enjoy a lot more than being tied down like I had you this morning. I learned a lot about you....from you.....this morning."

Entering a labyrinthine mess of streets and avenues, it was amazing that Michael could even keep track of where they were going. Only when they pulled into the parking lot of Denver's busiest mall did the rat race finally seemed to end.

"Well, here we are....so to speak. Try and stay close, ok? This place gets crazy on the weekends."

His voice dropped to a stern whisper that only she could hear.

"And I don't have to tell you that biting someone here would be a mistake, right? Just try to fit in, despite what your nose tells you to do."

It was for that very reason that he took her tiny hand in his own, ushering her quickly through the food court and away from the many confusing aromas that lingered there. But he couldn't possibly take the scent of human out of her nostrils....not with so many of them lingering about....

Store after store passed by before he found what he truly sought, the pink neon calling to him just as he'd hoped it would in this tornado of sensations.

He could feel her stiffen slightly in his grasp as he drew her close to the Victoria's Secret store, though it was probably out of confusion more than anything else. Smiling softly, he turned to pull her close to him, his mouth a fraction of an inch from her ear....

"Don't worry love, none of those human girls have half the body you do. I can keep my control here easily. Now....you're worried about losing me? Being just another link on the chain of mates I possess? I'm giving you the power to keep me interested.....I'll buy you anything you need or desire. This is just the first stop if you want.....go and shop.....I'll wait here until you signal that its time for me to pay for your purchases. No sense in ruining any surprise you might have for me. If you can think of any other specialty stores you'd like to visit, let me know......I've quite a knowledge of this city.....I can probably find just about anything."

Celeste did well to rest somewhat in the car, her gaze following the scenery curiously though it was obvious that she had literally no idea of what was going on. The look of the mall, however. Her amber eyes lifted immediately, blinking curiously as she saw the mall, her gaze focusing instead upon him rather than the mall itself.

She could smell it immediately, and wanted to remain in the car, however he so easily coaxed her from it, and through the crowd despite hesitant movement, reluctant steps forward.

When his lips were so near her ear she swallowed hard, however nodded in response to the words, darting back and forth to each person that she crossed, letting him lead her - needing him to lead her.

This was an entirely new experience, one that she had not managed to deal with since the day he took her from her apartment.

When he found the store, leading her there with an ease and grace that she did not think herself capable of, she stopped walking and instead saw the masses of women scant with only a few men who seemed to be having trouble searching through the tangle of drawers and hangers to find things for their own significant others.

He pulled her toward him, however and she shut her eyes briefly, swallowing hard at how simply he could do this. Be in such a place with so many people..and leave her to it as well? What was she supposed to do when he was out of the way. She was not to bite, that was certain, though she wanted to...every instinct was telling her to do so and actually made her whimper as she stepped forward away from him, toward the store.

Still hesitant were her footsteps as she moved into the crowd, gasping as she ran into a few, muttering apologies and then doing her best to stay clear of them, her eyes darting around the store.

The best thing for her was to find the associate who wanted to help her with everything that she wanted to try on.

It was a good hour before she came to the counter, her fingers clutching the countertop as she glanced around for him - wanting nothing more than to get into another store, though perhaps one that was less crowded. She bit her lower lip briefly before looking back to the woman who stared at her rather impatiently from behind the counter, however Celeste couldn't help but notice the jealous eye as the young lady spotted Michael coming through the crowd, much the same eye that had followed her throughout the store from the men and women alike. She wasn't used to it..and it had her cheeks at a constant shade of pink.

For his part, he had waited patiently. A mischievous smirk crossing his face, he gave a pair of lovely humans, probably barely turned 18 a saucy wink as they walked by....setting the two of them to giggling and hushed whispers as they both froze in their tracks to appraise him brazenly.

His chuckle was as audible as their disappointment as he caught a glimpse of Celeste out of his peripheral vision. The last of her packages rang up and swaddled in the womens store's trademark pink handbag, he could practically feel the pair of eyes on him as he started to make his way through the maze of lace and silk towards his mate....the only one truly deserving of his attention in this place.

He was not oblivious to the look of jealousy the rather mousy looking cashier gave Celeste. It was almost amusing to think that the girl considered herself even remotely a rival for his affections. As he drew near enough to reach for his wallet and settle their differences, he could hear just how loud the fox vixen's heart was pounding in her chest.

She had done well. With her heightened senses, it couldn't have been easy. Once these people had been her own.....now it was difficult to look upon them in any way other than food or the clan's future. A firm yet steady hand settling on one stiff elbow, he gave her his most winning smile as the other hand reached for the bag......extricating both of them through the crowd towards the exit.

"I'm glad you didn't bite that one. I don't think she'd have made a very nice addition to our home, do you? And I'm pretty sure you're not the kind to be wanting to take female slaves, but if I'm wrong, feel free to let me know and I might consider it. As for me......I wouldn't take her even if she was a gift."

His tone was light, meant to amuse and take her out of some of her serious and just a little panicked mood. There was truth in his words though, and if she knew to look for it, Celeste would have gained yet another interesting piece of lycan caste set up. Just as he ruled over the mates he had taken....so would it be if she bit someone.....even accidentally. Though a female being in charge over a male slave was rare.....it did happen.....and sometimes it was even allowed.

That was a matter for another time though, he could tell her all about it later. For now, he gave a simple amused nod towards the bag in his hand.

"I trust after this morning, there's nothing leather in there."

He could see her blush just a little, and it pleased him. This was going much better than imprisoning her and having his way with her as he pleased. Still....if she ever needed to be punished again......

"So tell me....are we done? Or are you still looking for more?"

It was a moot point. From her body language, and the furtive darting of her gaze from store to store, he could tell she wasn't done just yet. She was looking for something.....

She only had to tell him where to go to get it.

Celeste was thrilled to see him coming through the crowd of men and women, and did relax somewhat when the eyes of jealousy were at least taken off of her and re-directed at him. It was much better. Each moment eyes were not on her she did a much better job of controlling the urge to bite everyone in the place.

She followed after him through the crowd, the open area of the mall much better than the small crowded store. Her amber eyes focused up on him when he spoke, and his tone was easily providing yet another distraction to the quite overwhelming smell of the place.

And the comment of leather did make her blush, however she almost immediately scrunched her nose up at the thought of leather, but he was certainly correct in the assumption that she wasn't finished.

It wasn't like she wanted something in particular..it was the ability to be out and about..to not quite be in such a secluded place all of the time, and of course she thought here that there was no competition. Sure there were jealous glances even envious ones in every direction that she looked,..but she wasn't quite paying attention perhaps as much as she should have been.

Slender fingers drew carefully down his arm and she tilted her head slightly, lifting her petit frame to tip toe, keeping her balance with distinct ease and grace as she lifted her chin, speaking quite lowly, certain that no one else around could really hear them.

"Why did you bring me here.." Her eyes were curious, though calculating, obviously trying to read his expression more than anything else, feeling as though there was something..some reason behind this distraction that she was missing.

"Just to buy new clothes? Or..not really clothes..though you know what I mean.."

She brushed her hair from her face, shaking her head slightly. "Are you not telling me something..? Or...is this really simply just a trip. Just something for us to do together. I'm trying to figure it all out and it's not quite adding up. I know that you said it's to get something to hold your attention because I think that you'll tire of me..but..I don't know.."

Returning to standing flat-footed she was nearly pouting at this point in her own frustration, obviously trying to find some hidden agenda behind all of this and failing miserably, her eyes still on his - still trying to read him.

When Celeste turned to face him, raising herself on her tip toes to get a better look in his eyes, the paranoia and curiosity there was saddening. She was obviously looking for a hidden agenda, one more in place with the cruel punishments she had recieved already.

He could care less if people watched. Reaching slowly, a soft and tender finger gently traced the full and firm swell of one breast through her loose fitting shirt, the sensation and her own surprise sending her back to a flat footed state almost instantly.....but not before she had seen true sadness in his eyes.....

"Have you noticed, Celeste? How things run in my household? Or do you merely see competition?"

He could see the surprise on her face at the openly brazen question, Michael asking her for just a moment to search her soul for the true and honest answer......and yet not waiting before he continued.

He kept his voice low as they began to walk once more. She hadn't given him a destination yet, so his steps were aimless.....simply needing to move so as to attract at least a little less attention.

"Remember your first day in the manor? When I took Nastaja in the kitchen, and drove my seed into her until it took root?"

He could sense her listening intently, no doubt wondering if there was a point in his words somewhere.

"Angel and Nastaja sleep with me out of duty, as should have been proved to you that afternoon.....do you remember the tears shed as I had my way with her?"

There was a long moment of silence as he allowed her the time to absorb all he was telling her.

"Kira runs from me every chance she gets. Only Siobhan comes to me willingly, and only if I give her much of the same treatment you recieved this morning. She sleeps with me out of regret and the pain of knowing she can never do her duty as my mate."

A sad smile crossed his face then. He could see from the look on her face that such things had not really occured to her yet.....but that she was beginning to understand where he was going with this.....

"So you see, Celeste. I want a mate who comes to me willingly.....who's strong and confident in not only her looks, but her abilities. I've told you more than once that you are incredibly alluring, almost as if you were built for fucking after endless fucking. And yet I thought the feelings you once had for me crushed, that you would hate me forever for what I've made you into."

Silently, they had finally reached the end of that particular wing of the mall, Michael not even hesitating to turn and continue back the way they had come as if mall walking had been the whole reason for coming here.

"I want to remember what it feels like to have my passions raised to the point that I can hardly bear it. I want to feel something other than an empty lust when I'm coupling with you. I can see that I treated you unfairly up to this point, letting my memories of the past and the hatreds that came with them cloud my emotions."

A strange scent waflted towards him, causing him to stiffen almost imperceptably. Its bearer appeared long seconds later......the onyx haired, shifty eyed youth eying him warily....a sign that Michael too had been noticed.

While the boy's eyes shone with lust and greed as they swept over Celeste, they quickly looked away in deference as Michael acknowledged him with a curt nod. Both knew that he wasn't strong enough to mount a challenge....and if he were.....he certainly wouldn't do it here. Continuing on, he paid the other lycan little mind.....

"And so you see.....there is no hidden agenda, Celeste. I want you to buy whatever you want here, and then I want you to show me your love from now on rather than me simply taking it. I want to be held in arms that care.....I want to remember what it was like to be seduced.....just like old times, huh?"

A wry grin crossed his face as he glanced over at her.

"I know its asking a lot of you, but in return I can guarantee that I will never tire of you. This doesn't mean that I will all of a sudden stop sleeping with my other mates....I hope you realize this. They have a duty to further my clan, as I guess you can say you do too. But you.....you can be so much more than that.....if you want to."

Celeste flinched when she felt his finger upon her breast, and immediately couldn't help but glance around as she returned to stand at her actual height in front of him, her breathing somewhat uneven, an obvious flush upon her cheeks. But she hadn't missed the sadness..perhaps disappointment in her question.

However how could she not expect something else from this trip..something perhaps more on a level that did coincide with the treatment of the morning. A threat to give her to someone else - even a mate of the household..aching limbs from positions that none should be forced into and held for an extended amount of time...to a sudden peace of mind? It was less than likely.

But now he was asking her questions that she hadn't ever thought of. Her mind had been so riddled with other things that she couldn't have seen truth of how the others acted in his presence. When he wanted them. She just saw the obvious love that they showed him..the incredible obedience. Though now she was beginning to wonder if that was only out of obedience and perhaps fear of what would happen should they refuse.

Kira wanted nothing to do with him while in heat, and she couldn't help but be curious of what Shio would do if he refused to treat her with some sense of cruelty. Even then, she could bear no children for him so that in itself was even useless. He spoke of her duty and Celeste couldn't help but stare down at the ground as they walked, refusing to see the sadness in his face that she could so easily hear in his words.

She flinched as he brought her back into the conversation again, her name off of his lips making her shut her eyes briefly as she listened with all that she had, still obviously trying to figure everything out..trying to comprehend something that she didn't think even possible.

Up until this moment she had thought that this all was still revenge. Making her into this. Impregnating her..all the small things that happened in the manor despite the fact that she had been with him when he had been ill from silver poisoning..perhaps to show that she did still care. In her time there there had only been brief occurrences when she felt he cared for her as she did him.

She was pulled quickly from her thoughts, however, her head snapping up to see the youth, her footsteps hesitating only a moment. Even just seeing him there sent memories of the first night back - and when he looked away she reached up slowly, taking Michael's hand as she tried to put the images from her head. Her old partner covered in blood..the corpse of the lycan in her bedroom..eating the first heart. It made her shudder just thinking back on it - thinking of what she had become because of Michael and remembering after the so brief encounter that they were always under a constant cover of danger..though lucky to have Michael as a protector instead of someone weaker and less level-headed.

When he mentioned..old times she tugged her hand free of his and looked away again, swallowing hard at the thought of their old times. How happy they actually had been. It hurt to even think about how it had all ended the night she was too terrified to even attempt to help him.

Her heart was pounding in her chest as he spoke - everything seeming to pile together..to make some sort of unbearable pressure upon her even as he mentioned it was asking a lot though she knew he did not see the images in her head, the memories that still haunted her - the entire reasoning why he made her into this in the first place. She couldn't even bring herself to respond to him at the moment..not about that anyway.

It took long moments for her to manage to calm herself and even then her pulse was frantic, her eyes staring at each and every person who passed them. Her breathing was somewhat uneven as she realized rather quickly how hungry she was getting just being around them all, and again her hand lifted to take his though this time it was because she needed a way to control herself.

"I..need a distraction.." She nearly whimpered as a woman walking past her bumped into her shoulder, the closeness making her tighten her grasp on his large hand, her footsteps just a bit quicker. It was taking all restraint that she had at the moment not to kill someone in their footsteps..and even more perhaps to remain in the form she was in. She could shift...and run - and get out of there so swiftly..but that would put them all in jeopardy.

Her amber eyes were once again looking from store to store, and she stopped walking as she saw the line of high-end jewelry shops.., tugging her hand from his only to face him as she moved to his front, wrapping her arms easily around his waist and tilting her head back enough to look up at him. "..Buy me something?.." There was a nearly definite purring sound coming from the back of her throat as she spoke, obviously thrilled with her own idea.

"I...need a distraction..."

Michael glanced down at her suddenly, slightly alarmed. He had known that this trip would be taxing on her as her first real trip back amongst the throngs of humanity. She had done well so far....he was proud of her.

But now it seemed as if she were at her breaking point, amber hued eyes flitted from one direction to another, like an animal trapped with no means of escape. Yet she had an escape.....one that she didn't hesitate to use the second it occured to her.

She was uncomfortably close. All others were forgotten as he inhaled her special scent, Celeste drawing near to him in more of an effort to steady herself than to really turn him on. For long moments he watched as she struggled with the creature he had made her into.....fighting for control against her own instincts to flee.......flee and perhaps feed.

"...Buy me something?..."

Of course he hadn't missed the swivelling of her pretty auburn head towards the jewelry stores. Yet what choice did he have? None at all with that husky undertone to her voice, his own dirty mind thrilling at the all too brief thought of hearing her speak just so in a moment of intimacy. Besides....it wasn't as if he couldn't afford it....

A soft smile crossed his face as he reached for her, pulling her closer than she had dared come to him, letting Celeste feel the hidden tightness in his dress slacks as he let his lips graze her own with a surprising gentleness.

"Fine. But I get to choose this time."

The one good thing about stores like this, was that the prices kept most normal mall shoppers out. Indeed, there seemed to be only one other couple in the first shop they stepped into......already heatedly discussing wedding bands for their future together.....

Sadly, after long minutes spent perusing the store's wares, even with the help of a salesman all too eager to make a commission......there just wasn't anything that caught Michael's eye. He could hear Celeste ooohing over several pieces, but none truly stood out to him. He could almost feel her disappointment as they left the store....almost forgetting that there were others to look through.....

Three jewelry stores later, and he had it....a tiny platinum cross suspended on a spidersilk thin chain of the same metal. Its surface dotted with brilliantly cut diamonds alternated every other spacing with deep and fiery red rubies. The stones weren't the largest in the store....indeed, the pendant was rather dainty.....and yet that seemed to make it only more suitable considering who was going to be wearing it.

Michael grinned as the salesman helped Celeste don it for the first time, noting with pleasure how the very bottom of the crucifix nestled so perfectly between his mate's firm cleavage.....the man's own eyes wandering in the same direction, barely able to look away.

"We'll take it."

That brought the guy around. Spinning to face Michael, the dark haired youth fairly stammered his surprise at the suddeness of his decision.

"I....I mean we.....I haven't even told you a price yet!"

For the first time that afternoon, Michael laughed. Not a snicker....not even a soft chuckle.....though he tried to hold it at first, his efforts resulting in a rather comical snort, the tiny shop was soon full of hearty booming laughter.

"Could you tell her no?"

He was inviting him to gaze at Celeste, to soak up the full sensuality of his mate without having to hide his desires. He watched with some amusement as the man's eyes roved her body.....no doubt memorizing what he could for some whack off session later.

"No sir......no I couldn't."

This time his laughter was a little more subdued....the glass panes of the store saved from the rattling his first expulsion had caused.

"Good. Then let's get down to it. I don't have any need of your payment plans, and no I don't want to sign up for a credit card."

Especially not with his plastic already in hand. Smiling to himself.....he wondered which of the two of them would be more surprised when the charge of the pendant went through with no problems......

She saw the alarm in his gaze, mirrored in her own - and she knew that if something didn't happen soon, someone would be a meal for her - and it wasn't something that she wanted to do...not right now.

Her heart was pounding in her ears as he pulled her closer still, and in the brief moment that they were indeed that close she let her eyes slip shut - even as his lips just barely brushed her own - the simple distraction of touch enough..for now.

As soon as she was in the small jewelry store she felt more human again, leaning over the cases and pointing things out to him, repeatedly pouting when he shook his head in response simply because he got to choose this time, not her.

She muttered curses under her breath as he pulled her from store to store to store, only looking the slightest bit thrilled when she was actually allowed to wear the piece, the cross. It was nearly ironic, yet she couldn't help but smile ear to ear as it was placed around her neck.

Of course she didn't miss the look she was given by the salesman, or his wandering eyes, but she didn't seem to care about him. It was Michael's laugh only that startled her, and even that didn't last as his comment quickly made her smile in response.

When the card was pulled out and flashed at the salesman she was already standing in front of Michael, facing him and standing on tip toe, wrapping her arms around his neck. She nearly lifted herself that way, pressing her lips repeatedly against his cheek before allowing herself to stand once more flat-footed, though she didn't move away from him.

Instead she shut her eyes, wrapping her arms around his waist as she pressed her forehead to his chest, letting him serve as the newest distraction. She could concentrate on him. If he was so close, his scent..his heartbeat. It was all that she needed. Her breathing was uneven, her own pulse still frantic as she stood against him, not even seeming to notice any other gaze on her - not while she was concentrating.

Though at this point it would be obvious that she needed to leave..and soon. Even the man who was selling them the piece was smelling good - overwhelming her - and she was terrified of what would happen if she walked out now, if she broke her concentration, surely someone wouldn't survive the attack and she was certain that she'd walk out easily on her two feet.

So instead she kept herself perfectly still, listening to his heartbeat, letting it drown out any other heartbeats, and letting his smell rid her nose of the scents of any other humans in the near vicinity. Her voice was quiet as she spoked, barely a whisper, the words, "Thank you" heard - and while it may have seemed she was thanking him only for the pendant to the salesman, it would be quite obvious to Michael that it was also because he was serving quite a good distraction.

Michael nodded softly as his card was handed back to him. It was the last thing on his mind right now, all things considered. Celeste was wrapped tightly around him, her fluttering heartbeat a cause for concern on his part. Her words of thanks drifting on the wind, his sturdy arms held her in place as he let her calm down as best as she was able, giving the salesman a soft smile.

"And now that our shopping is done for the evening, you'll have to excuse us. We've yet to get ourselves anything to eat."

Michael didn't wait for the man to respond, after all....they had what they had come for. Taking a moment to pry Celeste off of himself, he took a solid hold of one elbow and began seeking the quickest way possible out of here.....

It seemed like forever before the parking lot looked before them once more, presenting them both with a longer walk than what they had previously sustained. It wouldn't have done either of them any good to walk through the food court a second time....Celeste having controlled herself quite admirably without needing that kind of cruelty.

"I trust we're not done shopping yet?"

His voice was impassive, not wanting to alarm her in any way with her thinking his words were meant to be venomous. She had something on her mind after the lingerie store, and jewelry might have been a blissful distraction, but he was pretty sure that wasn't her original plan.

"But first something to eat, yes?"

It took another half hour of negotiating the inner city's winding roads, but eventually he pulled the Corvette to a stop once more. A dingy, mom and pop looking diner spawled out before them. Seconds later, and they were both seated behind a booth.

The second the waitress came by he was ordering. He had come here for a reason after all.

"Two Cannibal burgers, extra thick if you don't mind."

The blonde glanced down at him from over her glasses, giving him a soft and reproachful click of the tongue.

"Don't serve em anymore, hun. FDA came in and cracked down hard....had ta take em off the menu. Not like they were the most popular item anyway."

Michael nodded softly, fully understanding, yet hardly willing to just give up.

"We're exceptions. If you don't believe me, you can just ask Giraud."

Another look of skepticism, it was beginning to get annoying.

"Alright hun, I'll tell him. Though don't say I didn't tell ya so."

He turned to give Celeste a smile as the server walked off, noting her confused look.

"Cannibal burger. Raw beef, minced onions, and god knows what spices....thrown on a pan for three to four seconds, just long enough to sear the outermost layer, flipped over and seared again. Looks like a normal burger, but the inside is almost completely raw."

Though with a thoroughly displeased look on her face, the waitress came back ten minutes later....bearing a platter with two plates loaded with gigantic hamburger buns filled with still sizzling meat. With a scowl, she silently placed first one, then the other before them.

"You could have just said you were friends of Giraud."

It was hard to chuckle with a mouthful of food. Instead, he had to content himself with a few good seconds of chewing so he didn't choke on the tasty treat.

"I pretty much did. We'll have a pair of waters too please....seeing as how you didn't ask what we were drinking."

It was almost as good to see the annoying waitress storm off.....as it was seeing his mate finally getting the chance to assuage her own hunger.....

Celeste was less than thrilled when he pulled her from him, nearly whimpering in response - however the comment of eating did keep her relatively quiet as he pulled her through the lot.

She glanced up at the comment of shopping more, seeming to perk up slightly - though she remained silent the rest of the trip. Her amber eyes had slipped shut, her head resting against the window - not even bothering to open her eyes as he navigated the roads with obvious ease, her breathing somewhat uneven though her heartbeat seemed to have calmed considerably after leaving the masses of people.

She could swear he was getting sick of shopping, getting sick of being at the mall but he didn't sound as though he was - or he was hiding it incredibly well. Either way, she didn't push it - and she didn't even question where he had taken her to eat.

The woman that had come up to them as they sat there didn't even look in the least bit appetizing, though she still lifted her hand to cover her own mouth and nose, glancing away from her as she walked away after a comment from the man across the booth from her.

Of course the question of burgers was something that she didn't quite enjoy, until he mentioned what it was, immediately feeling herself get hungrier still, biting her lower lip as she attempted to remain patient.

She was still rather quiet as they waited, glancing up at him occasionally though mostly it was obvious that she was back to concentrating, the fluttering of her heart making her jittery in the seat.

It wasn't until she saw the burger in front of her, smelling the raw meat did she seem to break out of the bit of a trance that she had put herself in. She ignored the rest of it, the comment the woman made to Michael, and his retort.

Instead slender fingers lifted the bun, her canines pointing visibly as she bit into the burger, eyes slipping shut as she chewed and swallowed. Of course it was not as good as fresh meat, but at this point she could do without the blood of it all.

The burger was nearly devoured even by the time the woman had returned with the water, and it was obvious that she didn't think that Celeste could have eaten the thing by herself - raw even, which made Celeste grin up at her, her eyes twinkling with mischief as she finished the last bite of the sandwich, sucking on her fingers easily only to wipe them clean with a napkin, then lifting the glass of water.

Usually not being one to be so silent she was happy that at least for the moment she was able to think of something else besides eating, or killing for that matter, her eyes again finding Michael, though she didn't look away this time, staring intently at him.

"..I didn't mean to alarm you.." She spoke quietly before glancing back down to the table, to the empty plate in front of herself, swallowing hard. "I just..I couldn't concentrate anymore...and then that woman..she walked right into me and I couldn't.." Even just thinking about it made her entire body stiffen, remembering it so vividly, her eyes slipping shut as she swallowed hard, shaking her head. "I didn't think it would be that hard..it was hard when I wasn't hungry and then..God it was awful.."

Lifting a delicate hand she brushed her hair from her eyes, tucking it behind her hair before pressing her palms to the booth, her feet swinging slightly.

"..I only have one thing I want to buy..we don't have to get it now...not if you don't want to we can go back.."

Michael watched, eating his own burger with watchful eye on the beautiful fox specimen next to him. If he kept his own chewing slow and deliberate, he could still monitor the racing of her heartbeat, not to mention the serious flush in her skin tone.

By the time the waitress had returned with their water, Celeste at least appeared to have calmed down again.

"Would you like another? It's no trouble....."

He listened with an open and understanding ear about just how hard the mall had been for her. It had been two years......but he still remembered that feelign.....the sensation of knowing that your food was all around you, and yet for your own safety, you don't dare strike.

"Were it ta yer likin, Michael?"

So she wanted to resume shopping again did she? Well that was no skin off his back....as long as this time she went back out into public decently fed. A small pang of guilt twinged his face before turning to smile pleasantly at the enormous figure that had settled in to hover silently at their table.

"Delicious as always, Giraud.....though I feel that my mate could do well with another if its no trouble."

Soft brown eyes swept as apprasingly over Celeste as she did him. It was almost enough to draw a low chuckle from the easily over 400 pound man. Noting her curiousity, the cook gave her a polite nod, running his hands nervously over the huge and greasy apron that encompassed his girth. Just as Celeste held no secrets from him, the huge man's smile widened warmly seconds later.....his own scent identifying him as a lycan race that the vixen had yet to encounter.

"Mah mah....when did ye go about getting a fox as a mate, Michael? Keepin her busy too, I'd imagine. Pleasure ta meet ya, dear....another cannibal burger coming up right away fer ya!"

The brute paused in midstep as he moved to hustle back into the kitchen, turning instead to offer a sweaty palm in handshake.

"Name's Giraud if'n Michael not be tellin ya. Head cook o' this here diner....not that we see much business o' our kind anymore.....but still....that makes it doubly good ta have ya as guests!"

Spinning with a speed that seemed almost impossible for someone his size, the chef beat a hasty retreat back to his kitchen, a broad smile and the sound of Michael's soft chuckling resounding in his ears.

"No worries, love. He's one of the most friendliest you'll ever meet.....unless of course you come looking for a fight. Even werewolves think twice of messing with a bear......and believe me.....I've seen the remains of some of his fights."

A small smile quirked his lips as he raised his glass for a small sip of water.

"Am not sure how much this means to you yet......but I certainly don't want to fight him."

Turning, he could see the auburn haired lovely next to him stiffen slightly at the words, another tinge of worry clouding her eyes. It was almost enough to shake more laughter from him.....if he didn't think that doing so would only alarm her further.

"Listen Celeste....he and I have been good friends for a long time now. I actually used to eat here before I was turned.....and never knew the wiser. Now, I just give him a hand with some unruly patrons from time to time......if he needs it......his cooking is quite popular with his clan."

Almost as an afterthought, Michael nodded, smiling politely at another behemoth of a man who had been gazing curiously at the two of them from the diner's bar like serving rail. A return nod was all he needed to assure himself that there would be no trouble......a nod that came all too easily, with a visible relaxing of massive shoulders......

"As for shopping, I'd love to. Though you know the mall was hard on you, so let's not go back there, ok? I know Denver pretty well......why don't you tell me what it is you're looking for? Or at least a store name....that way I can respect any surprises you might have in store for me."

"Thar ya go.....and curse mah manners, I dinnae catch yer name, gorgeous. Ya dunnae mind if I call ya that in good fun do ya? Least I won't be calling you hungry!"

Celeste glanced up at Michael - however her focus was quickly on the man next to the table, of whom she had no idea. She swallowed hard after a moment, though didn't quite seem to enjoy that she was considered only a 'fox mate' for the time being. Of course she didn't know really of the rarity of her kind, nor did she really seem to care very much.

Dark eyes quickly found Michael as he told the man that she could use another and she immediately bit her lower lip, glancing back up to him after a moment, obviously not thinking that he would think it was appealing for a girl of her size though when he turned away from her to return to the kitchen she seemed to relax a bit more.

She swallowed hard as she looked back down to the empty plate, not mentioning anything about the stores for a few moments before shrugging again.

"..I wanted to get a corset..something..really flattering.." Her cheeks flushed even as she spoke the words, glancing back up at him as she was interrupted by the large man, smiling immediately up at him albeit nervously.

"Thank you." She didn't smile, however at the bit of a joke, glancing back down at the newly full plate.

"Celeste." She glanced up, still smiling despite the fact that she felt completely uncomfortable with the situation, glancing back up at Michael, not really wanting to even eat again in front of them.

"Its really a pleasure to meet you. I'm glad you make these things because I was near to bite someone..eat something when we were in the mall and without this burger..even the slightest bit cooked that they are, they really do hit the spot, so...I'm glad that Michael knows you."

She nodded somewhat again, lifting the burger slowly before taking a bite, sighing heavily, contently.

"Awwww....now that wouldn't be doin much good at all. I'm glad ta help, love. Eat up, I'll bet Michael's got some plans for ya ta be taking ya so far from yer stead."

By the time she had finished her second helping of the home fare, Michael had finished his with a poised wipe of a napkin.

"A corset, huh?"

He watched as she blushed again, his voice perhaps just a touch too loud.

"I'm surprised they didn't have one, at the mall.....but then again.....Victoria's Secret is so mainstream. Yeah....I think I know of a place you can shop for things like that. Don't be too terribly embarrassed when I saw they cater to a wide range of clientele."

Sliding several large bills and a respectable tip for the waitress, it was finally time to leave. It was good to feel on occasion that there weren't eyes watching their every movement.....as each patron of the diner minded their own business and let them leave.

Another frustratingly long trek through traffic, to the point were even his direction sense was near its breaking point......led them to a small little shop in the middle of a more rundown disctrict, the pink neon sign at its door leaving very little to the imagination as to what lay inside.

"It's much larger than it looks, I promise."

Again, he couldn't help but feel her hesitation.

"Celeste....you're not going to bite anyone. Lighten up a little, ok?"

She shook her head somewhat in response to the comment about the corsets, however didn't respond immediately.

She actually remained quiet until they were in the car, again not looking up at him.

"I meant a corset like...you know. Something that actually fits my body not something that is flimsy..something..do you know what I mean or should I just stop talking? You say to get things that will make certain that you won't lose interest, though the next breath you tell me you won't ever tire of me.."

She sighed heavily before shaking her head somewhat, brushing her hair out of her face.

Again she remained quiet until they got there, actually nearly pouting up at him at his comment about the biting.

"What? I..I know I'm not going to bite anyone..I'm plenty light."

She frowned somewhat before walking in front of him, into the store, muttering something under her breath.

She wasn't sure if she even wanted to be in the store at the moment.

Really she couldn't wait to get back to the manor, to get back to the comfort perhaps of her bed instead of wandering around store to store - wanting nothing to do with the stench of men and women around the place.

It would be much better to deal with the certainty that she wouldn't bite anyone in the manor - and him commenting about how she wouldn't bite anyone..telling her to relax. It wasn't really something she could just ignore.

It wasn't like she was trying to be tense, and it certainly wasn't as though she wanted him to see her like that, but she couldn't quite deal with the constant reminder of what was already going through her mind at every split second - not to bite, never to bite, and him telling her that she wouldn't.

The pout went away as she opened the door to the store, nearly wanting to get it over with so that she could get back to the safety of the car, and then the manor, her slender fingers fiddling with the newest pendant around her neck.

Michael nodded, smiling despite himself at her reaction to the suggestion she might be worried still about biting. He could see the wrinkle of distaste on her face was the two of them stepped into the novelty shop. She had to be made to know....and know quickly.....that there was more here that first let on.

That wasn't to say that this wasn't a porn shop, because it was. Michael did his best to remain nonchalant as the two of them started forward, instantly finding themselves swallowed up by the store's section of lesbian and gay DVDs, men and women alike arching their oiled bodies on the myriad covers.

A few seconds later, the store set up in such a fashion that buyers got a good look at quite a few sections, and they had pushed past the videos in favor of the costumes and lingerie....

And real costumes at that. This store catered to all kinds, and that included those with an old fashioned fetish, those who dressed for local renaissance fairs, and others who just wanted to look sexy.

Just as he was about to give her free reign once more to look, he felt her flinch slightly......her tiny fingers drifting across the muscles of his arm in a way that he'd felt way too often today. Turning....he looked to see what had grabbed her attention....

A leather clad beauty wept on the cover of one dark covered DVD....the material died black and wrapped tightly around her struggling body even as her tormentor moved into position......the rest no doubt inside. Though he knew it was risky, he also knew that she might like his support right now.....his hand opening slowly, feeling her own slide inside as he led her past the bondage and masochist section.

It didn't take long this time for her to become engrossed in something completely different. The store he had brought her too had damn near everything.......especially when it came to underwear.

He only hoped he found something she found suitable. The sudden thought of her walking around his house with her full and firm breasts pushed up to enhance her cleavage even more......was leaving him with a dull and heavy ache.......

She stopped, having to pause when she saw everything around her. It wasn't what she expected, nor was it something that she was sure that she could handle at the moment.

She paused, however - at the section that she obviously couldn't handle, her pulse once again quickening though this time it was for a completely different reason.

When she had reached backward to find his arm with her fingers traced cautiously over it, not sure if she even wanted to touch him as he served as a reminder of what he had done to her in the first place.

Though as his own hand opened, she quickly took it, allowing him to lead her away from it, her gaze finding something else to look at..something else to occupy her mind with other than the section she didn't quite want to be anywhere near.

She pulled away from him, however when he brought her to the section that she had been searching for she seemed to perk up slightly, slender fingers immediately running over the materials.

She didn't even notice his gaze, instead grabbing a few corsets, glancing back up at him before turning and moving into the fitting room.

She came out within thirty minutes, one purchase in hand.

A heavily boned black corset with lace trim at the top and bottom as the lining.

She glanced up at him once before moving to the register, quite glad that it was in the same section as she didn't want to have to go back to any leather-clad section of the store if she didn't have to.

So instead she stood at the register, toying with the lace on the corset, the matching boyshorts, a triumphant little smile on her face.

Celeste's gaze was focused on the register, not on Michael, not on anyone else. She was thrilled to be finished, to have found what she had been looking for, and that they could get home from there - unless he had another sort of pit stop in mind. "I'm ready.."

"So am I."

Only she couldn't possibly have guessed at his meaning just yet, he had no intention of leaving quite yet.

Gentle fingers laced with hers, his own heart racing for the first time today, its rhythm shuddering deep within his chest. He beamed his happiness down at her as she scooped up her purchase with her free hand.....her own gaze moving somewhat subtly from her own personal bliss, to puzzlement as he pulled her deeper into the store......to a more secluded......private.......and darkened area.

With a soft nudge, he bumped her inside a video stall.....the tiny cubicle just barely enough to give the two of them breathing room considering the small and modest bench set into its surroundings.

"Shhhh...."

A firm finger pressed against her full lips as she was about to voice a protest. Celeste had come along admirably in just an afternoon......but her self confidance and her opinion of how he viewed her......

Well that would just take a different kind of training.

"I need you.....right now....."

His own voice was a hushed murmur as he stroked her face with a tendency she'd not often seen from him.....another soft shiver rippling through her as he traced the firm swell of one breast.....for the second time that day.

"Thinking of you.....trying on the things I watched you pick from here....."

He ran her hand downward....his arousal evident to the touch.

"Look what you're doing to me."

And then his lips claimed hers in a rush of heat, that he only hoped she felt too, his stocky body pushing her up firmly against the flimsy wall of the stall as he began to let his hands roam her tight flesh.....

She hadn't been expecting to be pulled farther back into the store, and certainly not at the rushed pace that he was taking her in.

When he pulled her into the stall however, it was a different feeling altogether. She became almost suddenly nervous, panicked about the situation, the small confines of the cube making her eyes dart from him to the entrance repeatedly, lips parting almost immediately only to have his finger pressed to them.

Of course that action only drew a whimper from her lips.

Yet still as she felt his hand on her cheek she couldn't help but lean into it, her cheeks flushed in the dark stall as his hand trailed downward, the touch - gentle but purposeful drawing a weak groan from her lips.

She didn't know if she could do this..here.

The car was a different story perhaps, but here? It was a store. And secluded or not she could still hear every heartbeat in the place..and wasn't really sure if she could bring herself to do exactly what he wanted.

Her breathing was heavy as he drew her easily from her thoughts, forcing her hand downward, slender fingers just brushing over the bulge in his pants, her heart racing as she found herself against the wall, back arching under the desperate touch.

"M..Michael.." Without a finger to silence her she groaned freely now, shaking her head somewhat in response, not really thinking that he would actually do this - and here.

"I didn't mean to do it to you..I..I wanted to get it for home not here.." The stall was cramped..small, and she wriggled against him, the flush on her cheeks evident, though the race of her heart made more of an impact. "Someone...someone will hear.."

Michael felt her shivering against him, knew of her doubts even before she had voiced them.

"Then wear it when we get home. I'd hate to let all those wonderful presents I bought you today come to surface right away. I do so like surprises....."

Another kiss silenced the quivering fox mate in mid protest....even as a hand dipped into a pants pocket. With a mischievous smile, he gave her a saucy wink, his lust for her not having reduced in the slightest....his movements being followed as he fed a twenty dollar bill into the appropriate slot, the tiny stall's darkness erupting into light and sound as the menu screen came up with an assortment of perverted choices. The werepanther barely even paid attention as he hit one of the options, almost at random. Almost instanly, the little room was alight with the sound of empassioned moaning and the insistant slapping of sweaty flesh.

"That should take care of suspicion.....at least for a little while."

Her eyes were wide as he returned to her. already eager to feel her beneath his fingers and palms. Her frumpy choice of dress only concealed her fine figure, but that hadn't fooled anyone today....least of all Michael. His head dipping low, heated lips nuzzled her neck, moving just a little lower to kiss the spot on her shoulder where he knew he had marked her.....his hands reaching for her to give her full and ripe body a naughty squeeze. For now he was content to simply build her to the level she had instilled in him.....and was in no rush to remove her clothes. This morning had been harsh.....rape, the longer he thought about it.

More than anything else he wanted her to see the passionate side of him.....still dominant to an extent......yet patient in his lovemaking, caring for her own feelings.....even if only to get her over a simple little fear like sex in a public place.....

He needed her to feel wanted.....perhaps even needed......only then would she blossom into the confident and passionate mate he so desired and needed. And the fact that it was with her.....

Well.....there had been no other thought in his mind after the memories they had together.

Celeste wasn't really expecting the lips to silence her so suddenly as they had, her body stiffening against him as she saw the light from the screen - and the sounds that followed his finger pressing the button only made her look even more uncomfortable.

"This isn't fair.." Another groan as his lips found the spot on her neck that made her shudder beneath him, her back arching, slender fingers clutching at his arms as his own hands wandered.

She wasn't sure why exactly he wanted this, and it seemed that she wasn't going to get an answer for it, either.

And the choice of clothes while she knew had been mostly selected out of comfort, she had also decided upon them for a thought that it would bring less attention to herself.

Instead she somehow managed to have eyes try and find the figure hidden beneath the clothes, making her feel as though she would have been better off wearing something more figure-hugging.

As the touching continued, her lips mindlessly found his neck..his shoulder, her breath coming quickly as she stood on tip toe even while against the wall, not seeming to care very much anymore about being pinned in the small stall.

She seemed much more content instead with him being that close..and not being..angry with her. There was nothing between them at the moment - nothing she felt she was at fault for, and nothing that he felt he should be angry with her for.

Still, the moans and incessant slapping of flesh made for a rather horrid distraction - quite obviously being more..reserved in her thoughts, and while it managed to keep any sound that they made concealed beneath the volume of the stall, she was certain that the porn would still distract, and perhaps even make it less enjoyable.
