Hunted!! (For RPGFreak and myself)

Introduction:

I sat there in that tavern watching my target. He sat there sipping his drink like it was no big deal. He was so clueless about my presence. For a creature with such a high bounty on his head, he certainly didn't seem to worried or watchful. I always made it a rule to never really talk to my bounty heads. I always kept that stoic look and turned a deaf ear to begs of mercy. I did my job well, but once in awhile a certain thought would cross my mind. The thought that somehow I might be missing something. It was a silly thought that I quickly dismissed again and again over the years.. Perhaps it might be true..

-He was in a long white robe and wooden sandel with sox as his blonde hair went ove rhis blue hues his skin abit pail as his robe with blue design liek symbols of angelic markings on it his eye scouldnt be seen and his secret couldnt be seen his bounty was a good price but becuase of the magic peopel seen if they knew he was a angel she could get more money he knew he wa beign watched peopel wanted him for the bounty and he finished his drink and got up and walked out as he walked out he got past the door just to breath a moment as he knew somethign was ot happen but wasnt sure he would fight but didnt want to as he enters back in to the tavern he sit sback down ordering another drink and he sips soflty-

Mika was getting quite bored with just sitting there she needed to get to him before someone else did without causing a scene. Just then she got an idea, but it would mean going against her code. She went to the bar and got a drink then stood infront of her target. She gave a sweet smile from beneath the hood of her cape and pulled it down with one hand to reveal her lovely yet almost tomboyish looks.


"Would you mind if I sat here with you?"

-He saw it comign and yet didnt expect it -"ah yeah sure your welcome to"-he said and loke ddown in to his drink it was nectar his favorite the mad eit here in any flavor-"nice night huh"

 

[Hikari]

In a flash a knife was at his throat and her green eyes were shining with glee.


"I can easily take you dead or alive for the bounty on your head, but I prefer not to cause a scene. We can do this the easy way or the hard way."


He was attractive she'd give him that, but she'd never once let someone go for being a prettyboy. This one was different somehow, but she couldn't quite put her finger on it. He seemed like he was smiling, but she ignored it. It was of no consequence and she'd do her job nonetheless.

-Sirus looks to her and smiled-"I knew you were coming i felt it a mile away gonna have to say the easy way so lets get going"-he said and took her hand in to his and put the knife away from his throat and he put it to her side a she stood up and walked out waiting for her-

 

[Hikari]

A moment of sheer shock crossed her face and then regained herself. He'd really stopped her and not only that he was acting like it was no big deal. It seemed like an everyday thing for him. What the heck was going on? She soon met him outside and looked him square in the face. Although he was a bit taller than she had expected, she figured she could manage.


"Look mister, I don't know what you're trying to pull, but either way you're coming with me.."


She had only blinked for a second and he seemed to have vanished. She was now weirded out beyond all reason. She'd never seen anything close to something like this. What kind of demon was he?

-Sirus looked to her as he re-appears and looks to her-"ok lets go "-he said and started off with her as he just thinkas as they go-

What was going on? Why was he so easily giving up his freedom? It was just too strange. She had no idea whether to bind his hands or not. He seemed to just be surrendering. Then again you could never be too careful.

"Hold out your hands for me.."

-He nods-"Ok "-he said softly and looekd down a tear tricklede down his fae he knew why the bounty was out but somethign told him she didnt know bountys were for demons ot be displayed in shows but the circus or show wanitng him was bigger with a big reward and his reward anybody would want despite a big bounty like 2 million would be plenty for agood long while-"lets go but i still say people will regret belivign the lies that ima demon what people thing such fooleshness"-it didnt make sence what demon used that language-

She saw a tear slide down his cheek. Something wasn't right about him and the reward. Demons were deceitful but they never cried real tears.

What the heck was happening to her? She felt guilt swelling up inside and she knew what she had to do. She knew it mean't ruining her reputation, but she knew she couldn't live with herself if she went through with this. She looked him in the eye and spoke softly..


"I apologize.. Forgive me.."


She put away her weapon and ran into the woods.

-Sirus looks to her and nods-"Its quite ok trust me i been runnign its time that i just go with it"

 

[Hikari]

"I'm letting you go.. Just forget that I even did this.."

There was obviously something she wasn't saying. There was something in his eyes that filled her with remorse. She couldn't live with herself if she put those eyes through something like that. She needed to get away and regain herself. She couldn't let this weaken her..

-Sirus looked-"Why what is wrong hold on"-he appeardin front of her uickly-"please talk to me what is wrong"

 

[Hikari]

"please talk to me what is wrong"

She looked into those eyes of his and sighed..


"I'm afraid I do not have it in me to condemn someone who is innocent.. After doing these hunts for such a long time I can tell when a man is guilty or wicked. It's forever there in his eyes, but you do not have that look. So I shall bid you good day.."

She turned from him and began to walk in the other direction.

-he looked to he ras she walked awa in confusion then he felt something and he herd somethign being shot silently form a few yards form her he runs an ddives in fornt of he rstandin gtliek ablockade and is hit with a very sharp arrow and he winces as two more ar eshot and hit him hidden by some rocks he stand sthere standing but weakign every slowly -"hurry some on is tryign to kill you run"-he said as his wings spread wide and covers him self form harm as more arrows wer ebign launched his wings could only take so much damage-"go run"

 

[Hikari]

"hurry some on is tryign to kill you run"

She saw him defending her and getting hit by many arrows. She saw his wings spread apart and take hit after hit. She was horrified.

"go run"

"But I can't you're hurt!!"

She reluctantly ran off with tears in her eyes. She couldn't stand the thought of such a beautiful creature being attacked, but he was doing it for her. She made her way up a large tree and waited. What else could she do?

-the wings flew bright as each arrow hit then the arrows went thorough th wings and a loud raging scream was heard and a explosion of white light was seen as it knocked out all fo th epeople firing aroudn him the arrows diintergrate din the light as th ewounds were still there and everythign was silent in th eforest he lay on the ground wounded he was still breathign very lightly but breathing barely alive some may say he held in there tryign to stay alive as long as he could -

She climbed down as the firing ceased. She could not imagine who'd be after her. Then she remembered the angel that was hurt and ran over to where they'd been and tears came to her eyes. She didn't know if he was alive or not but she still went in and removed the arrow heads. She ripped some of her own clothing to bandage his wounds and placed healing herbs in them.

"Please be okay"

-Sirus winced and sat up and looked at her-"huh are you ok"-0he said sofly as he stood up a bit wobbley-

 

[Hikari]

Her eyes widened and she jumped up, hugging him without thinking. She then remembered he was a complete stranger with many wounds. She let go of him blushing like crazy.

"Forgive me.. But why? Why did you shield me from those attacks? You don't even know me?"

"I had to i couldnt let you die"-he says and winces a bit as he stood up slightly more-

 

[Hikari]

"I can't imagine who might be trying to kill me, but I know that we need to get out of here."


She grabbed his hand and led him into the woods. She just hoped they'd be safe there.

-he followed her with calm eyes and went through the woods with her prepaired for what may come when ever it may come he looks as they stuble through the woods-

She saw it becoming darker outside and knew they must make camp.

"Let's stop here for the night. I have a blanket you could use.."

In reality she only had one blanket, but in the end he would need it most. She sat down and started making a small fire from sticks around them.
