Has anyone got a tried and tested cure for a hangover?

Pills just don't work for me so no Ibuprofen/aspirin/codeine type suggestions please.

Thanks

Ibuprofen BEFORE going to bed might have helped. I would try and drink as much water and juices today as you can handle; getting hydrated takes away a lot of the pain and misery. Feel better soon.

hair of the dog..

...always works for me

if not that, then Angusturas (sp) bitter and tonic water

failing that 'Resolve'

Well, it's quite revolting but you take an egg and whisk it up in a glass of cold milk. Then... straight down the hatch. Lie down for a while, then take yourself off to KFC or McDonalds for lunch. Grese always helps.

Hey - you're from Oxford, right? Get thee to the St Giles Cafe on St Giles St (if it's still open)... it's up from the Randolph hotel, Ashmolean Museum etc... they do fantastic fry ups.

Can I join you? :D

First part of cure sounds revolting!

But you'd be welcome to join me for a fry-up. Oxford has many, many cafes so plenty to choose from.

I have an excellent cure, but you are just too far away;)

It involves lots of bed rest.

Heaps of water and sleep... :)

I was going to mention greasy eggs and bacon, but it looks like you enjoy a fry up

You're welcome to join me too for OJ and toast;)

Cherry Kool-Aid and a cheeseburger with fries... the kool-aid helps with the rehydrating... and also gets the much needed sugar back into your body(the lack of which gives you the headache)
