Picture a fantasy setting for an erotica. One race of intelligent and sentient people are nonhuman. They could be humanoid, like orcs, or not, like dragons. But no matter the shape of the body, the fact that they poses human thoughts, feelings, and the ability to consent and understand remains. With that in mind, would a sex scene between a human and one of these creatures- let's say, dragons- be denied on lit for the bestiality rule?

Non-Human category would probably fit. I'm thinking as long as the beast is not the usual domesticated house pet or barn yard animal.

Ah... Rishathra!

Larry Niven, in Ringworld, coined the term for Interspecies Romance:

"Rishathra" is sex between different species used for diplomatic purposes, when meeting new tribes, or as birth control for those species that become pregnant every time they mate within their own.

q.v. "rabbit" (Earth animal).

Magical or mythical beasts are fine on Lit - unicorns, mermaids, were-beavers, anything - as long as they are sentient in your story, and do not exist in real life. At least, that's my understanding of it.
