remember when Hillary laughed at "Stand by your man". Seems the joke is on her and Huma.

Hillary and Huma are metaphors for 21st Century women. Smart people with no balls.

Strong, opinionated women cause reflexive pant-shitting in the likes of 4est Gump and JamesBShutin

You have to separate this into "people who are in public life" and "people who are not"

Lots of people can be strong in one realm of their lives and not another.

I don't understand staying with someone who lies and screws around, but I have no public ambitions as "a couple" either.

It worked out okay for Hillary in the end. I doubt it will for Huma.

Are you saying Hillary did not stand by her man?
It seems to me that she said that she was not going to be some Tammy Wynette ans Stand by her Man, but that's ostensibly what she did.
Personally, I think it is a sham marriage. They appear to genuinely hate each other, and rightly so. They're together for appearance's sake, no?

She stood by her man and she got to be Secretary of State.

Do you think she would have been if they'd split up?

The point is, she said one thing, and did something else. Why would dumping Bubba have any effect on her being Secretary of State?

You didn't say she contradicted herself, you said she wasn't strong.

Because he was President. There's a huge spotlight and podium that comes with that.

For these women to take this shit from these assholes is a disgrace, and quite frankly, offensive to all women. They are entitled to be treated with dignity, respect and love. What Bubba and Anthony did was immoral, pure and simple. They violated a VOW.

No, it's their individual actions and in Hilary's case it probably paid off.

I'm a woman and I didn't have to marry Bill or Anthony so it has no reflection on me.

I don't know their personal agreements but I can hope that they'll take it out on them somehow, and probably will, and I won't know anything about it, thank the Fates.

Two wrongs do not make a right.

Who said I thought they were right? I said it is a calculated decision with hidden motives and payoffs. I wouldn't make that decision, but I didn't want to be Secretary of State or President some day either.

I wanted a good marriage. I assume that wasn't her highest priority.

What happened to Hillary was dreadful. Some might have more respect for her if she dumped Bubba. It's possible it would not have had any efffect on her political aspirations at all; perhaps even a positive effect.
