I was checking out one of my poems from when I was cward2 called 'Inquisition' and according to my stats, got over 85000 views. Is this possible? I'm a little confused about this

ha! possible it got that many views, probably impossible that it got that many reads

I recently read in a geek magazine (it was either that or a gardening mag) that people with blogs had that kind of mysteries too. Now and then they could get mad amounts of hits on single articles, for no apparent reason.

Apparently, it's Google's fault. If you by chance happens to write something that gets you on the first page of search hits for a one-word and not too uncommon phrase, a whole lotsa people will click on the link and your statistics for that page will skyrocket. Granted, for 99% of the visitors, it was notyhing of interrest, so they bakclick.

there are also little robots that go around the internet searching for broken links, etc and maybe a few thousand of them got stuck in your poem

but seriously, on my web stats, got a whole lotta bots digging around. sometimes they send me messages, it is kind of freaky. they even want me to say thank you. but I am a little bit afraid of them.

anna, my oldest daughter is just freaked in love with those people, she and her BF went to atlanta this past Sunday for a concert and she hounded the bouncers and whoever you bug, and she got VIP passes and they were dancers on the stage wearing alien masks while the band played. They gave her an autographed something or another and She just wont hush about them, lol//

I think its cute that a 23 year old still gets excite about things like that, when I was 23, she was three years old

its funny how you keep reminding me of people I love

i think that answers your question.

it's some glitch, in something. the huge difference in the numbers makes that obvious . . .

. . . or maybe it's just a really really good poem.
