And now, from inside sources, we find out that the US knew that the Benghazi attacks were perpetrated by al Queda and that 4 suspects had been identified within 24 hrs.

As these sources are as yet unnamed the information can be called into question, and will be by the Obama defenders. However the preponderance of evidence that we DO know so far tend to lend credibility to these reports. Further the administration has insinuated that there was a breakdown in our intelligence gathering apparatus, slowly morphing away from the 'movie' meme. It should come as no surprise to the administration that the intelligence community is going to fight back.

There was NO demonstration that 'got out of hand' in Benghazi. It was an out and out pre-planned attack by al Queda and elements associated with al Queda. No movie had ANYTHING to do with the attack.

For over 9 days we were lied to by the administration and the State Dept. talking head, Susan Rice.

What's worse is that even after the entire charade started to unravel our esteemed moron in chief went before the UN General Assembly and repeated the entire line of bull shit. Surely he wasn't speaking to the assembly, most of them have their own intelligence sources and those that don't got the 411 from those that do. He turned himself into a laughing stock, but for what purpose? Was he so delusional or misinformed that he actually believed what he was saying?

Or was it a blatantly political address specifically aimed at the American people as the election draws near? And if that is the case just what can be said about a president that will go before an international body and perpetuate a lie for domestic political purposes? Shouldn't we expect a little more than the mimicking of the antics of a Castro, a Chavez, or an Ahmadinejad?

And to throw out some fodder for those that understand the inner workings of DC.

Hillary remained pretty much aloof from all the Benghazi aftermath. The press aside, the primary roosters crowing about the 'riot' and the 'film' were Carney in the white house and Rice (Hillary's presumptive heir at State) until Obama went before the UN.

Just for yucks consider Rice as the back channel whisperer to the white house about the inner workings at State. And let's assume for a little intellectual exercise that Hillary became aware of this, maybe she even set a canary trap.

Hillary's character of record is that of an individual that is not prone to forgetting slights, real or imagined. As a matter of fact she's shown herself to be quite ruthless in that regard. And I'm quite certain that someone on her staff that was caught telling tales behind her back would be a prime candidate for some 'special' treatment. I doubt she would think very highly of the recipient of that information either.

So with one fell swoop Hillary gets to torpedo both Obama and Rice. Rice is toast mo matter what the election holds in store. There is NO way she'd going to be confirmed by the senate after this debacle assuming Obama wins a second term and even makes the attempt to appoint her. And should Obama lose, she won't even be able to appear before any of the Foreign Affairs committees with any credibility. Off to a career of lobbying for third world countries for her.

And should Obama lose re-election the recent events in Libya, and the way that the administration handled the aftermath will probably have played no small part.

Of course all the preceding is nothing more than conjecture, but if the hypothesis has any basis in fact it is a brilliantly ruthless move on Hillary's part. She gave them both all the rope they wanted............then she hung them.

Acceptable loss to anybody who has basic math skills. It sucks that they died and I feel for their families. I'm sorry for their loss. They however chose dangerous jobs, died as heroes and we should be celebrating their lives and accomplishments. I know you for whatever reason aren't noticing the significance of an American Ambassador who was so beloved by the country he was living in that his death had the mob out for an American. That is the result of this foreign policy is Muslims throwing a riot over a dead American. No amount of Obama (if he tried) to make this about Islam (which frankly would be a stupid cover up when a better cover up would be the opposite. Yes, I sat through the entire hearings. They stated multiple times that the security requests were met, and not once was that claim disputed. They stated the attacks were of an unprecedented level of of sophistication and size. That even with a few more guards the results would have been the same. This entire witch hunt comes down to whether it was proper to call to call this terrorism and claiming that the Regime's reluctance to call this an act of terrorism is a problem. They also made some claims that because Obama has presented us as "weak" that we brought this attack on ourselves. Which if you follow that line of logic it's still that Muslims can't control themselves. But it's discounting the vengeance they got for us.

I love that I live in a world where the Underwear bomber's father betrayed him and that a riot was thrown over a dead American. I wish he didn't have to die but he died a hero and his death mattered and has shown just how far we've come in four years.
