How would you describe the stones in this picture? (Resort theme)

So I'm writing a honeymoon scene in Chapter 12: The Power Of Love in my VY novel. I want to "show, not tell" the reader about a colorful walkway created out of stones that resemble those in the picture below. There is a bubbling brook that gently flows across the stone path leading out to an expansive geode fountain.

So I'm asking everyone here for their description of the picture below to get some ideas on showing as opposed to telling. Thanks in advance!

Hrm... here's how I would show it:

She gasped when her bare foot touched the pebbled surface. She only intended a dip, to feel the warm caress of the rippling waters from the fountain.

The path looked harsh and beautiful, in that it was littered with precious rocks, of every colour imaginable. She braced herself to feel a sting, wishing she still had some cover for her feet.

But it did not come.

Surprised, she bent to examine a stone. The passage of time and water had weathered the path, softening the sharp edges of the rocks upon it.

Delighted by this discovery, she skipped toward the fountain happily, enjoying the smoothness beneath her feet and laughing at the unexpected comfort.

That was amazing AngelWithAShotgun! I can't use it word-for-word, but it definitely gives me the inspiration I need to write the mini-scene.
