2018 Economic picture There is a lot of optimism from the business community regarding Trump.

President Clinton was hammered about his character by Conservatives, but really no one cared because the economy was rolling. Despite all his quirks, this is ultimately the slandered Trump will be judged, all presidents are. Liberals will hammer him as much as Clinton was, but if there is money in people's pockets, no one will listen.

I tend to agree, but there are other criteria, such as getting the country embroiled in an unwinnable war. I don't believe this will be a problem. If the US does get involved in war with NK or Iran or some other pipsqueak, he will go all out to win, unlike some presidents in other wars.

Getting the US involved in war with another major power, such as Russia or China would be another matter, but I don't expect that to happen. Those nations are not led by maniacs.
