How to watch a thread without choosing whether to receive email about it?

When I click watch at the top of a new thread I get a dialog asking me either I want to receive email or only notifications on the website. I never want email. Is there any way to tell the software to assume that instead of asking me every time?

Click your name in the upper right and from that drop down click settings.

Email options

Receive news and update emails
Receive email when a new conversation message is received

Content options

Automatically watch content you create…
and receive email notifications
Automatically watch content you interact with…
and receive email notifications
Show people's signatures with their messages

Privacy options

Show your online status
This will allow other people to see when you are online.
Show your current activity
This will allow other people to see what page you are currently viewing.

These are all tick boxes. Just tick all the boxes that you want and untick what you don't want.
