This is my approach on how to pick-up a woman

Confidence and persistence. Make eye contact before you approach. Eye contact from a distance and see how she responds. If she holds your gaze- or even better, if she smiles, go talk to her.

If she is with friends- Don't express interest in both her & her friends .

Make her feel like she is the most beautiful woman in the world. Often, a woman will go for a man on: how he makes her feel.

start easy with the fireman carry , but just bending over and letting them fall across your shoulder and then standing back up with them mounted on you is another good way. And I recomend always lifting with your knees to protect your back. After picking up women alot and you feel confident then try a piggy back carry, women love confidence so go for it!

Don't waste too much time trying to be interesting. Instead try being interested.
This is another person, not some alien being. We aren't that different from you. Be respectful, have a sense of humor, just be nice. Listen as much as you talk and if she wants you to go away then GO.

Unfortunately what I am good at, is not populated by women. Or if it is, they are there with their husbands. I am actually a great cook, but at the grocery store, it's like everyone is zombies, or completely unaware of their surroundings. Of course I was there Monday, and every woman I would have cared to talked to had this big shiny thing on their left ring finger.

It's not about being comfortable, it's about being completely ignored - or avoided. Even if I'm the only guy in the place.
