How to submit a story?

hey y'all, and apologies for the total noob questions, but... where do i submit a story? start to finish. if its written in Word, do i copy and past to a form? im a long time reader, lost original acct info during a move so this is my alter ego. anyway, ive had numerous friends and the wife harrassing me to write, hopefully well enuff to publish here. thinking of taking the plunge. started my first story and the wife will make the first pass in editing. from there, i havnt the first clue how to submit. if someone can take pity on me and spell out some directions, id be extremely grateful. thanks much ... You need to be in members/literotica.com

Go to stories and click on your name at upper right.

are you sure thats step one? im confused heheh. story is in the works, my woman has first edit, then a friend wants second edit on rewrite, then i make an ass of myself and send it in. still unsure if im terrified or not, cest la vie

(shrug) didnt say i wasnt going to submit heh. just never thought i would. outside the norm for me, but the woman can be pretty persuasive when she wants to be. so.... back to horrible spelling, terrible story line, and insights into a head thats been kicked about 10 too many times by indignant horses
