How to post with two authors

I wrote a collaborative story with a fellow Lit writer. Is there a way to post so that we are both credited?

One way is to create a combined pen name for collaborative stories. Several authors have done that over the years.

Otherwise, you can choose one of the two authors and have them post it with author's notes saying that the story is also credited to the second author. You can even link to that author's profile in the note, as links to Literotica pages are the one type of link that's allowed within story text.

You could also link both of your author accounts in an author's note from a combined pen name.

And before someone jumps in to say "You can't use links!"

Third paragraph down, and there's no way it slipped through the cracks, because I specified that I was doing it in the "notes" section. Links to other Literotica pages are allowed. You would be wise to keep it near the top and say something in the "notes" section, though. Otherwise, you risk an erroneous rejection for HTML.

Nope, it's one or the other or you can make up a name for both of you.

I have a co-writer on a few stories and that is what we did. Used both names or variations of both for the new one.

ETA: Morning Dark, you're a little faster on the trigger this morning. I need more coffee.

Hey, thank you. I think we'll create a new combined name and list the names/links separately as well, and go from there. Thanks for the quick replies!

You're welcome and a welcome to the AH for both of you. Happy writing.

I've had a couple of stories where other authors wrote parts of them. I mentioned at the beginning listing the authors names. It was fun when commenters tried to figure out which author wrote which parts. There was three of us that did one story that way also. MistressLynn, Jake Rivers and myself. It was fun and I really enjoyed it.

Also DanielleKitten wrote a letter for me in one of my stories. Then Jake Rivers and I wrote a few together. I always make sure that the authors are given proper credit.

Note that both (or all) of the collaborators are co-owners of the copyright, unless they agree otherwise. I do a very lengthy copyright notice where I have obtained licensing from another author for use of that author's material in a story I'm writing, and make it clear that the copyright in the derivative work belongs to both of us.

You might want to do a Mike Meyers, talk among yourselves, and make it clear before posting who owns the copyright.

Thanks to your information before. We finished our story, and created a new ID for it while crediting both authors in the story. Our story was posted just a couple of days ago. The second story will be coming soon, we hope.

Thanks again!

Have done the latter with my wife sometimes. For some stories, they are under my name, others under hers.
