if you like stuff where the girl has super exaggerated proportions, and she's with a guy, should he also have exaggerated proportions, or should he be very average joe so the guy viewing the art can imagine himself there?

at first i was leaning towards drawing the guy as average joe, but now im starting to lean towards the guys being also exaggeratedly muscly in the same way the girls i draw are exaggeratedly busty?

what do you prefer?

Hello,
I think you raise a very good question.

I would say that it is important to understand the story and what it is asking of you at any given moment. I don't think there is a universal answer.

What I do think is that eroticism is tension and a good way to achieve it is by creating imbalance between the characters: big strong guys with petite girls, super hot chicks with fat ugly guys, overdeveloped girls with super skinny nerds, etc.

When I see a woman with an "unlikely" partner I always ask myself: hWat doe he have that attracts a such a dine woman? Aside fom the bank account I keep coming to inevitable truth: something that gives her immense pleasure.

Sounds a little of wanting best of both worlds ;) . Perhaps more women deserve that. No envy from me, I am secure with my average

I would say draw from life, meaning the panoply of different kinds of people, ages, sizes, shapes, body types, etc.

At the same time, art is about focusing in on the stuff you want to play up. If you're drawing someone with a nice cock, exaggerate it. If you're drawing someone with nipples that get long and thick when they're hard, make them the longest, thickest nipples.

To me, the saddest thing about erotic art is that you can draw anything you find attractive, but a lot of people just end up drawing the same stuff as everyone else.

hmm maybe i'm boring 'cause i started drawing the guys with exaggerated buff well endowed body types. but that seems to be what the people who like my particular fetishes also like. also got a comment from a presumably straight girl about how the bimbo being used by the guys is lucky, so i guess now i appeal to more demographics? XD

Just draw, paint what you like and it will work for at least some. Ignore the others. Have fun with it.
