Ok, I took sirloin burgers out of the freezer for dinner, but have no rolls or bread to put it on. I'm not big on red meat; I usually slather the burger with lots of ketchup, relish if I have it, cheese, and of course, the bun.

How can I make it taste really good without the bread? I have lots of spices, Worcestershire sauce, etc...

Suggestions are most welcome.

Adkins diet?

A friend just lost 6 lbs. in six days on it. Thinking about doing it myself.

No, not the Atkins diet- Body For Life. I'm eating carbs, although not as many as I normally would.

Meatloaf might be good. I have what I need for that. Any other suggestions?

Well, how about making meatballs/sauce, & pasta? It sounds like that's your flavor style anyway.

Order Pizza.

Dont you live in the city? Go get some damned rolls. I live 8 miles froma store and I would go get 'em. Fawking A!

Or just slather lots of cheese on 'em.

i think that would make a very dry and generally not tastey meatloaf.

you could make meatballs and cook 'em in tomato sauce.

Just call it sirloin steak. I hardly ever eat bread anyway.

Crumble them into spicy tomato sauce and call it "spaghetti sauce"

I'm too po' right now to spend any money on anything. Rolls and pizza are a luxury at this point.

I have no cheese either.

I'm not in the mood to have sauce and pasta.

So far meatloaf is winning.

Use the ketchup and relish in the meatloaf instead of slathered on top.

Ok, minxie, good enough reasons not to do pizza or rolls.

Aside from meatloaf I think you are stuck with some ground cow.

For whatever reason, I now crave manwich. Yum!

you could cook it in a skillet with seasonings (garlic powder, onion salt, oregano... whatever you like) and put that on a baked potato.

Speaking of meatloaf, can anyone figure out what movie this line is from?

"Meatloaf, beetloaf, double beetloaf. I hate meatloaf!"

I don't think that's healthy.

But it's not that unhealthy. I forget what the threshold is.

Thanks for the link, CB, but I don't have most of those ingredients.

I'm thinknig I might make a version of chili.

I only had half of the ingredients. I ended up making my own concoction:

Ground sirloin, diced tomatoes, kidney beans and rice with lots of garlic, chili powder, crushed red pepper and salt.

It's dealable,
