How to handle requests for stories

I recently received a request from someone to write a story about them. I have reason to believe that whoever sent the request is not the person they described themselves as. I have no problem assisting someone in getting their fantasy up on Lit erotica, but am worried about ethical and possible legal ramifications.

If the person is not who they describe themselves to be (I know, what a stretch here on Literotica to believe that), and the persona they created is entirely fictitious, no problem. What if they are describing someone who does exist in real life? They have passed along information on past sexual dalliances, and included names. Again, if those people are real, there are some issues.

I have seen people saying that posted stories are the result of a request such as the one I received. I would greatly appreciate guidance and insight on how to handle this.

If you don't feel comfortable with it than don't write it. Simple as that.

You can always put the standard "this is fiction" disclaimer at the beginning of your story. Even with that I wouldn't use the exact names that you were given. If they are similar and the story is "sort of" along the line that were requested you shouldn't have any grief from offended people (unless it in the Loving Wives category, then you are going to catch hell no matter what you do or say). :D

If the idea is that good, you steal it and call it "research." If it sucks, you write back to them and ask how they could possibly suggest that you plagiarize someone's life--even at their request--for a mere story credit.

I just say no thanks. I did that for someone on one of the stories I have posted at Lit., and they didn't bother to even thank me. I tell people to write their own stories or just make do with what others are writing.

I give the same reaction to those "give me a story idea" requestors. Coming up with the ideas is part of the writing process. Do it yourself or don't bother to pretend you're part of the process.

I'd get the money upfront first then write the story without my name associated with it by sending it to them to post if they want.

But get the money up front.

To begin with, you have inherent problems with some aspects of this request or you wouldn't have begun this thread; ergo: I'd say to the requestor 'thanks, but no thanks'. If someone is that anxious to see their thinly disguised sexual escapades in print, let them write and submit them. Folks do that all the time. ;)

I had a request. I said to hell with this person. and just wrote a nasty story and called him/her nasty names. Hmm, maybe that's what they wanted. Never even thanked me. My suggestion, don't do it. You got you're work cut out for you with your own trashy stories.

The story I wrote is Brooke Anne Jackson's story. Google it, if you like.

Many of my stories are based on requests from readers, and at least three are from requests from Lit. members. None of them are true stories, but they are based on fantasies of those readers. Sometimes I send the reader a version using her name and certain intimate physical descriptions and post a story on Lit. using a different name and omitting the personal info. I only do this for women, by the way, and request nude photos for inspiration. I can do it using a description but I really work better using such a pic.
