how to get into chat

I managed it the other day for the first time and now it just stops at the initialization page and doesn't go any further any ideas? ive been trying for over an hour now lol have I just missed something

Chat is notoriously unreliable. Even when one can get in, it's not uncommon to get banned by mistake (e.g. using the wrong words in an innocent context or posting rapidly enough to get banned for "flooding").

I'd suggest finding a more reliable place to chat, posting and getting to know people here on the board. Some members even create their own chat networks after getting to know folks here. You could look at the different free chat options (many use Google's, but there are plenty of others) and start a thread in an appropriate area of Personals to see if people are interested in forming a group.
