How to get into chat?

Yesterday my computer was upgraded from Windows 98 to Windows XP and when i tried to get into Literotica chat, this message came up for the first ever time: -


"We're sorry, but our chat application requires a Java compatible browser in order to run."

Please help! How do i get back in there? If i have to download something, what and where?
