How to get best out from ribbed or studded condoms

I asked, in another literotica forum, if anyone actually found ribbed or studded condoms added any special stimulus to the delights of fucking. I used a ribbed one once and neither of us noticed any difference.

I found no extra pleasure from a ribbed condom myself. Even thinking it was going to be better did nothing. In fact, I prefer the regular condoms.
