Does anyone know how an author can delete stories from Literotica? Has anyone done this who could give me a 'how-to'?

I've been all through my account and the submission information and can't find any way to do it.

resubmit with "delete" added to the end of the title and also put a request for deletion in the the "notes" box. Action will be delayed for a few days--the same time it would take to get on approved for posting.

It's pretty much the same process as editing.

Instead of adding "EDIT" or something similar to the title, you just use "DELETE" instead, and then say that you want to delete the story/chapter in the "Notes" and "Story Text" sections.

I know you've had problems recently, so I'd suggest hovering or right-click->properties the "approved" link to get the Lit ID# for the stories/chapters you want to delete, then make note of that in the notes/text section as well.

I do that on all editing, just to make sure there's no question about what submission I'm talking about. The Lit ID# is unique for each and every submission.

Hi sr71 & dark

Thank you for the responses and information. Although I'm not sure I understand what you're presenting, dark. In my list of submissions (where I view all submissions), at the bottom of the block of information for each submission is a url for the story with a [change] next to it. If I right click on that I get a menu from which I can select 'properties', and at the top of the general tab there is a submissions_url_edit.php?id= and then a number. Is that the number you're referring to?

Thanks again.
