How to delete account completely

The search box keeps disappearing when I try to type in it so apologies for what is almost certainly a duplicate.

I need to delete my account. Is sending a PM to Lauren still the correct/only way to accomplish this? Are there any additional steps I should be taking?

I didn't manage to get a story up here so I don't have anything to delete.

Sending a PM to Laurel is the only way to delete your profile. However all your posts will remain, the user name will change to guest. If you want to delete any pics or posts you have to do that first then PM Laurel. It wil take several days.

So let's see, you didn't post a story, so your author space is really empty. And you only have one post on the boards...

I don't see a problem...just walk away...unless you were foolish enough to use your real name on the author space.

Just curious, what kind of story did you try to post?

What was the rejection reason?

It's a shame this can't be automated but I understand that with limited time and resources, account closure is a low priority.
