Combine with loud music, sunshine, friends, (spliffs - optional) and lots of sex!

It will never fail!

Good Luck!

No doubt about it; a bloody mary will at least clear your head.

However, for the long term, try lots of water and a few aspirin. Don't eat anything greasy; chances are you don't want to anyway.

You will want to drink the water, though; part of your wrung out feeling is being dehydrated. If plain water doesn't do it, try iced tea or some juice.

Good luck.

Flagg. You crazy ass. I already threw up! :D

And Creamy Lady (God, I love your name :)), girlie, lots and lots of Long Island Iced Teas today (minus the Long Island, though !)... hee hee :)

Okay... I know that's not funny, but I just always wanted to say that!

But really though. I'm tryin'.
Thanks guys!

Hey, Red---

As someone has already posted, aspirin and water BEFORE going to bed, er sleep, will usually do the trick. "An ounce of prevention..."

As to the morning after, what usually works for me is 1) aspirin, 2) a chocolate bar, and 3) a Dr. Pepper (or your favorite caffienated drink). Sugar, caffiene and liquid--

Bloody Marys are marvelous, but only after noon as a hangover cure (for me anyway)--

Also, try switching to drinking something with less sugar. I've never had a hangover from scotch---

Hangovers are in large part due to dehydration. That means large amounts of fluids. Water, juice, or other "clear liquids. Coffee, Tea, and similar drinks high in caffiene are natural diuretics, and exacerbate the dehydration. (Any drink that has a reputation of making you want to pee is to be avoided.)

Sugar and Vitamin C also help, as do aspirin, Advil, or Tylenol. (Excedrin is my personal favorite, being half Tylenol and half Aspirin with Caffeine.)

There was a time in my life when I figured the best cure for a hangover was to never sober up, but that's as much a myth as having a "hair of the dog." The former just saves up all of the hangovers for one big pain when you eventually have to sober up, and the latter just spreads the hangover out over a longer period.

Hangovers are one of the main reasons I'm a reformed lush. I eventually woke up one morning and said "never again!", and meant it for a change.

Coffee, and greasy food ALWAYS work for me. I also try not to find out what acually happened the night before. If I remember, it usally makes me sicker!!!!

LOL Wh.... after years and years of being the designated driver I woke up one morning and said "never in the first place!"

Gatorade always seems to do it for me. The original lemon-lime seems to work a little better for some reason.
