You can't get to Lit via the wi-fi networks at either Panera or Starbucks. I would be shocked if it were any different at a lot of national chains that offer wi-fi, which even McDonald's is starting to do in its newer and larger stores.

Get yourself an account with a VPN service. Most of them cost around $5.00 per month and route your http traffic privately - the content filter will have no idea where you're going or what you're doing as all your traffic will be encrypted.
