You know when you realize your staring out into the universe on a clear night and the awe of it puts things into perspective... last.night I did and it had been months since I did last...but I do watch every sunset ...knowing it could be my last.

There, out in the darkness
A fugitive running
Fallen from god
Fallen from grace
God be my witness
I never shall yield
Till we come face to face
Till we come face to face

He knows his way in the dark
Mine is the way of the Lord
Those who follow the path of the righteous
Shall have their reward
And if they fall
As Lucifer fell
The flames
The sword!

Stars
In your multitudes
Scarce to be counted
Filling the darkness
With order and light
You are the sentinels
Silent and sure
Keeping watch in the night
Keeping watch in the night

You know your place in the sky
You hold your course and your aim
And each in your season
Returns and returns
And is always the same
And if you fall as Lucifer fell
You fall in flame!

And so it must be, for so it is written
On the doorway to paradise
That those who falter and those who fall
Must pay the price!

Lord, let me find him
That I may see him
Safe behind bars
I will never rest
Till then
This I swear
This I swear by the stars!

fairly regularly. there are no streetlights for miles, so the stars shine bright for me. it was too cloudy this morning, when I went for a run at 5am, but it was beautiful nonetheless.

Great question! Not as much as I should. I did last week.

Cold clear night in a snowy field..nothing like it...or in the high desert... or out in the open ocean

I do much more at 4,000 feet. You should see them at midnight at 6,400 feet with my lights off and no one around.

Now that I live in the city, not too often.

But when I lived in the country, we would sometimes lay out in the back yard and look at the sky while talking.

It was a simpler life then.

Not often enough. I get so caught up in life I forget to. It's sad.

Too true .
City life is not all it is cracked up to be ,and not seeing the stars in all their glory is one of the downsides .

Pretty often...sometimes it's just hard to look away from the Northern Lights though.

There just may be some meaning to the positions of the Stars, Sun and Moon
