Within a 24 hour period, I was offered a new and far more lucrative job after about six months of an intensive job search.

I rented a house. A real house, the first house I have ever really lived in with the exception of that that was the white elephant in my divorce! It is perfect for us and I am so excited I can't sit still.

Of course, I have to move this week in order ot have the children ready for school in teh new school district, so I may not be around very much.

But it is all good!

Thanks, Owl.

I am still a bit in awe of all the good luck that has come my way lately. But in truth, it is never just luck. We have to do our best to make things happen.

We are moving about 50 miles from here. A fairly large move for us, and it places distance between the kids' dad and us. A good thing, really, however, he isn't likely to see it that way.

You know I have always been one of your biggest supporters and I am so pleased for you.... really very pleased!

Oh I am certain there are many here who can offer all kinds of decorating tips for the new house!;)

WOW!! This is certainly exciting news.:)

I know you are extremely busy, but please make sure to take some time for yourself. Having just gone through a similar thing I can assure you that you will be glad you did.:rose:

Congrats!

Congratulations Miss T. You deserve an exciting lift in your life, and I agree with you, we make our own luck happen one way or another....now to put that freed up job searching energy into finding 'the one'.:D My positive thoughts will be focused in your direction. Enjoy.

Gosh!
Thanks everyone.

It is really the hallmark of new beginnings for us.

I didnt' mean to leave the thread as I did. I meant to start a discussion about life's changes and fortune, fate, karma etc.

Woo hoo! Well done MissT! Does this mean you'll be able to afford that holiday in NZ now? Looks hopeful

Congratulations Miss T ! Ooh and a dungeon decor ideas thread would be great.. (wanders off thinking of black sheepskin rugs, tented black silk ceilings, Tizio lamps and black industrial rubber flooring..)

Way to go Miss T!!!

Are you moving somewhere closer to a kinky community? I seem to recall once that you said there was no kink in your area.. So when's the dungeon warming party? What do the kids think?

Congratulations Miss T.......wishing you the best of luck on your new begining :)
