How many songs do you have on your computer?

It says that there are 1,545 files when I right click on my music folder.

None. I probably have that much on several out of service computers but these days I can click and find anything I want to listen to.

It's just too many to count, in different folders and portable discs... easily above 500GB

True....but I'm glad I backed up all my movies/music onto a remote HD, which is really and old tower I shoved 12TB worth of drives into. (9.2 used)

Why you might ask? Because living in the boonies means satellite interwebz....which means there are days you are super duper glad you have a digital blockbuster/record store you can go just plug in, old fashioned style.

Granted I'm using it inefficiently and rather clumsily, but my bronado in law is like ultra networking/programming geek so he's going to get me all situated and set up when he comes down for a visit. Network the whole house up....supposedly I can turn my hot tub on from my phone and all kinds of cool shit.

Should get a blue tooth toilet seat that warms up when your alarm goes off in the am or when you enter the bathroom. Yeaaaa......voice recognition water temp control....how cool would that be? Ok I'm not getting that crazy obviously but there will be a few cool features.

None. iTunes is such a unfriendly interface I decided to take them all off the hard drive and saved them onto a usb memory stick. Put nothing in the library and just put them on the iPod. Much easier and no duplication.

Actually, I lied, I only have 1,545 songs on my computer and my hard drive isn't even 1/4 full.
